Default Chapter 166 discussion - oh shit...(sorry digi)

Okay! I can't take it anymore! (at the time this thread is created the creator of this thread can't even find the raw on mangahelpers...so i basically fail. I even used the search button! =c sorry digi!)

Okay! now that my apology is done...Cross dropped a BOMB! As in it's so shocking that I tried to follow the format and can't find the damned raws! get it NAO!

(sorry again digi! I'll edit this when the raws comes out, or you can edit this and place the raws here :O.)

    Edit:

its not even in the "D.gray-man RAWS" thread, nor was it in any thread. The thread that mentions the 166 chapter I saw in mangahelpers.com [the only raw source that I know] is the one where the dude from that forum created that discussion thread.

    What a creepy clown.
etufo: HS is most likely going to die sooner or later. Who will kill the cool character killer?

Popo: well, obviously going by that logic, HS will have to kill himself...

That...was so very much worth the wait, and now we must wait one more week for even more DGM goodness, hopefully. D:

For some reason, DGM is starting to remind me of the Wheel of Time when a really awesome potential plot twist is replaced for a boring, strange one that doesn't really fit when you consider what could have been.

    Seriously.

This feels a bit plot-hole-y when you consider everything in the manga before, but then again, it's not the end, so maybe Hoshino can find a way to explain it. (After the fanbook, though...)

Oh, and Mana was some fugly clown; I guess that little brother got all the good looks of the family. (Yeah, I know he's wearing makeup, but the guy's going bald!)

Why do u say it´s plot-hole-y ? You already know I don´t remember the details,so clear me up :P (and I haven´t read the fanbooks...)
Mana is quite different from how I thought he were...but yeah,he´s a good man (I think ^^)

Hmmm, I liked the twist personally, but I can agree to the plotholes. I was thinking and didn't we see Mana looking much different in 135? Hair and all, unless the hat was hiding baldness. Also, Allen looked muuuuch younger. But there's one thing that got me wondering, remember when that one Noah who's name I can't remember died but said that Noahs never truly die, what if this is what he meant? Like, they are reincarnated or some shit, since I dunno, it hasn't been said if the memories were implanted AFTER his birth or w/e, but it seems a bit strange.

Especially since the picture that shows the two brothers had one with a hair style pretty similar to Allen's, not that it means much but yeah. And the way that Cross said it doesn't make me think he just happened to be selected or something, it's like it was all planned out long before anything happened and I highly doubt Allen was even born before the 14th died since none of the current Noah know anything about the 14th or even his existence before it was brought up. There's also the plothole of how the clown, assuming it's even Mana though I'm pretty sure it is, even knew his name or how Allen would have a name if he was random orphan #9784 but that's not all that hard to believe if he was in some kind of orphanage at first, but really, this created about 10x the amount of questions it answered and maybe the clown was lying when he said he didn't remember who Allen was.

    tl;dr: Inconsistencies, wut wut?

    ?

I reckon it's OK so far... We haven't seen the adult 14th, so we don't know who was more attractive Although clown Mana looks a bit different to what we've seen so far, this is him in his Clown Form, and minus a hat, so it fits OK.

I think it's pretty clear that Noahs must reincarnate... In all the time since the real Noah first died, I think it's safe to assume there have been more than one incarnation of each of the Noahs around today. Although when Skinn said he was immortal, I don't think that was what he meant - I think he thought he was truly immortal. He seemed a bit unhinged

I think Mana the Clown took an interest in Allen for some reason, and that was why he knew more about him than he pretended to - maybe because he knew that the 14ths memories had already been implanted? Dunno when that happened.

Anyway, what's the matter, DE? Seems fine to me. Was pretty unexpected, which beats predictable!

    Good chapter ^^
It makes sense, allen being the 14th. the earl not knowing why he didn't kill allen when he was a kid, why he's the only one who can move the ark etc.

And mana looks... better when he isn't a clown.

I guess as the 14ths memories come back to allen, he'll find out the true purpose of the akuma (if he remembers them anyways). and I think there'll be a 14th vs allen struggle when the 14th reincarnates.
