Thread: Chapter 153 Discussion - It only took eight volumes...

Actually... It doesn't look that cool. But whatever. The creation of the boots was damn awesome (although I think Hoshino has left this very open to women jokes - "It won't stop bleeding!"). It's also worth noting that Innocence can be really ugly. Haha.

So I read this while listening to Ayu's new song - Mirrorcle World. Wow. Was awesome. Song better than the chapter. But anyway.

Next chapter will probably be lots and lots of ownage... Yay!

Her new boots... Bleh.

I fail to see why women, or anyone for that matter, would want to cram their feet into something that is not only a smaller size, but forces them to walk awkwardly on their tip-toes.

Still, I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, though I think this Level 4 is going to require the combined forces of Allen and Lenalee to take it out, it's super buff... o_O

And the activation was pretty cool - how it came from her feet - and the shape of the Innocence itself.... but the actual shape attached to her is nothing special.

Still, ready for next time! Also, pretty cool to see Kanda and Lavi chiming in to do what they can - which isn't much.

Boots are a smaller size? Walking on tiptoe isn't uncomfortable at all, actually. I'm sure Lenalee's just fine in her boots. xD (Although the disadvantage is that she'd be taller than Allen...)

I kinda hope that the boots have some cool powers to make up for their boring appearance... or maybe Lenalee will get another power-up in a few volumes and their appearance will change. For now, though, I just want to see her beat that level 4 and have things go back to normal.

Well first off the boots are probably red, which would be somewhat unusual in this series. Secondly, I have to agree with Digi on the fact that the boots probably aren't smaller then her natural feet. Also considering the Innocence is now made of her blood, I imagine walking in them is going to be interesting (I figure the Innocence will make it solid enough to be comfy, but still be squishy enough to feel like walking on wet sand).

I do like the cross marks where her innocence came from too. Any one else see the stigmata refrence here? I wonder if Kanda is going to get one on his right hand, and Lavi one on his side...

In short an interesting chapter, but too much for too little.

Red, huh... I didn't think of that. It would be cool, although a better design would be more interesting. They also seem pretty solid to me, more like real boots (yes, they were made from her blood, but it's still Innocence) if not completely solid altogether.

Yup, I mentioned it on MH. I question whether Kanda and Lavi will have anything to do with it, though... Lenalee is a little more special than they are. (We've seen the hand-things on Tiki, oddly enough. I wonder if some marks will be divided between Allen and Lenalee?) I wonder where Hoshino is going with this - it's almost certainly not coincidental.

We can't expect much more with only 15 pages per chapter. Hoshino probably has to change the pace to make the chapters seem normal. Besides, we'll probably see asskicking in the next one, so...

i hope so i sick of that level four grinning like a happy fool in there. but i'm glad the trio is working together at last....for now

The level 4 is scary, though. I can't look at it too much or I get nightmares. ._.;;

I doubt those three boys will work together much more than this... Funny how they're technically protecting Lenalee, huh~
