Thread: Chapter 153 Discussion - It only took eight volumes...

A couple of things: first off, with the shards thing, we're talking about Kanda. I can see him doing something like that if Lenalee's power up is as much as we're anticipating, so I thought it was funny (otherwise disturbing).

The sword arm thing/ claws idea is more or less ripping out of our culture: Wolvie style. The blade would be located inside his arm, but able to come out. I just had the image of him pouncing on someone with his hands and his usual "I'm going to..." scowl, and thought that if he had cat ears... well it would be disturbing to the 10th degree, but I'ld lmao.

Now for the amount people eat... yah, Allen really does enjoy it (food in general) but I think that (and maybe why he eats so much) is mostly psychological. I mean he had to have infrequent meals doing the travaling clown ruteine, so maybe it stems from that. However, he (and his innocence) is obviously still growing, so there is that. Lenalee is twards the end of the growing cycle, so she probably won't eat as much, but if her innocence uses blood, then she might eat/drink almost as much to replenish that. As far as the other parasyte types, I wasn't trying to say that they ate as much as Allen (far be it) but they might regularly have thirds or fourths, instead of Allen's "I'll have everything on the menu... twice!" or others first/second trips.

I suppose. Still sounds a little too much like Allen's Innocence, but whatever. (Although I can't really picture Kanda with cat ears. I think it would be as scary as the level 4.)

Perhaps. It seems that the other parasitic-types are still adult men to tend to eat a lot anyway, so maybe it just wouldn't have been noticed. (Your explanation of them vs. Allen made me laugh. xD) I wonder if he did have infrequent meals, and that's why he's... well... not really on the tall side?

I'm not sure if Lenalee would drink more after every use of Innocence - or at least, not if the blood doesn't fade completely or become useless after one invocation.
