Don't worry. It ain't happening. Hoshino isn't going to kill off the single love interest of half the male cast that includes the hero who is also the 4th most popular character and the only real heroine in all popular Weekly Jump manga.

True so true. I just want to see her power-up. Still think it's going to be super-speed Digi? There's only a handfull of things that could happen if she doesn't die, and that would involve some one else interfearing, or the innocence coming to her somehow (maybe a bat wing armour add on... okay, maybe not, but something protective as well as boots). I still have a nagging suspission that Crow-kun is going to come out of no-where and do something suprising (he's the only exorsist so far that hasn't done something in this arc). Perhaps he just distracts the lvl 4 for the time Lenalee needs to get the innocence. Oh, on that note, can you imagine Crowly hyped up on Lvl 4 blood? That should be really scarry.

Yeah, you have a point - when Hevlaska was trying to make Lenalee synchronize with the Innocence, it wasn't just her legs. Maybe it will be more than just boots after all. ^_^

Krory is probably still unconscious (we've never seen a character undergo a long recovery time for a serious injury and be in that kind of fighting condition after - well, I guess there was Lenalee in volume 4, but that was a single low-level akuma), but it would be difficult to get from the hospital room and that nurse to Hevlaska's room. If anyone is going to distract the level 4, it'll either be someone currently in the room who will probably be injured/killed, or Allen/Link (Ark instant transportation!).

Edit: Actually, Chaoji is also a good candidate for distraction. He's currently right above the others, so...

True with the Chaoji thing. The reason I mentioned Kory was that despite being hevily harmed, all it seemed that he needs is rest. That being said, he is a "vampire" so who knows what his innocence might make him do with a lvl 4 around. Heck, for a while there he was having a hard time controling his power around a lvl 2... granted that might be bacause he fell in love with it...

I think the Eliade thing was his feelings, not the Innocence...? If it manipulated him to such an extent, Allen and Lenalee wouldn't be unique anymore.

I'm not sure about Krory showing up because he just isn't important enough of a character to do something big at this point. Krory isn't super strong, and honestly, it would feel a little strange for him to show up and kick ass (even as a distraction for Lenalee). Heck, he didn't even get his own cover until volume 12 despite being around for a long time before that. If anyone new comes in, it would probably be either Chaoji (due to location), Allen (because he's Allen... and cool), or Link (since we don't really know what the heck is going on with him and that would reveal new information).
