Oh, well then. Ending the series quickly wouldn't be in anyone's best interests, though; it would be a terrible ending, Hoshino would stop making money, and although DGM isn't doing very well in terms of Shonen Jump popularity its volumes are apparently selling very well. There's no reason to end it.

The Innocence thing is once again up for grabs. Remember Allen had to re-form his hand, not by seeing a hand, but by seeing the tools it would be used as to destroy Akuma. Only after the weapon was re-forged did his hand reform. I'm saying that if it is a case simular to Allens, Lenalee might picture a weapon totaly diffrent then what she had before, or something with additional protection or attack capabilities.

I'm sure it will have additional capabilities somehow, but I don't think it'll be vastly different from her previous one. Allen's hand is still a hand that's a more advanced version of his old weapon. Lenalee's boots have worked well for her so far. Additionally, Allen had to reform his Innocence entirely and was aware of it; as far as Lenalee knows, if she's going to invocate her Innocence, it'll be boots as it always has been (except possibly as a parasitic-type this time). Even though she may have the potential to have something different, she probably doesn't expect it.

Of course, extra things would be damn awesome. Skirt upgrade! (Or maybe I've been watching Sailor Moon too much.)

Sorry, new though... what if in addition to the original capabilites she gained one to nullify the Akuma Virus from the Akuma's weapons and such? That would be interesting/handy depending on what her resolve is.

That seems to be a basic ability of parasitic-types (if Allen was any indication in the first volume), so that'll almost certainly happen. xD

Maybe I should of been more specific when I said the "nullifing" property. For some odd reason I had this mental image (partly because of how she dresses in the first place, and partly because of this last chapter) of her in a nurse uniform with something like an aura that could cure not only her, but those around her. Heck, possibly having the boots do an "auto-purify" on the lesser Akuma that come to close even.

Once again, I'm unsure as the actuall state of the boots, so who knows how much she could rebuild even if she knew about the option.

Oh, so something relating to healing others? It'd be cool, but I don't know how it would work (akuma poison gets into someone's blood, right? So how would an aura heal that?). Krory has something kinda like that, though, since he's able to remove akuma poison from people (physically, though)... besides, no one's really getting hit with bullets anymore. We aren't seeing very much of those low-level guys, and higher levels don't seem to use them.

The boots themselves melted (were destroyed?), but that doesn't seem to have affected the Innocence. Well, we'll probably see that soon...

Yup, all my stuff is pure speculation. Still, IMHO the Lenalee powerup is long past due, so hopefully we will see her with something new.

It was delayed because of the Ark arc, though. Oddly enough, Lenalee has probably been powerless for the same amount of (manga) time that Allen was - a few days or a week or so. As long as the Ark arc was in terms of chapters, it's easy to forget that it was supposed to occur over the timespan of three hours. :/

...and yeah, it's about time this happened.
