Chapter 148 Discussion - No more Kanda, please!

I'm actually really enjoying this arc :D

This would be cool if the L4 wreaks havoc and destroys the HQ, as in Lenalee's dream. Also, did it look like Kanda cut Komui at first to anyone else? Looked like he took his fingers off or something...

Sherman: It does kinda look like Kanda cut Komui, since we didn't see the level 4 get close enough to damage him. Haha. I don't think Komui would just sit back and do nothing if that was the case, though.

Huh? But the Akuma touched Komui with the statement that Komui's head values equal one exorcist head...right at the junction of Komui's shoulder and neck, right side. And only a bit slipped further to the right he hurt Komui when Kanda came. That's what I think.

Johnny cries a lot, yeah - but he has glasses, right? And I don't really notice his face, either...

Yeah, the akuma did touch Komui... but how that translates into a slash across the shoulder is confusing. Its fingers don't look particularly sharp, and it seems to attack by using pressure...

That level 4 made me interested in reading this again.

Will this finally be Lenalee's time to shine again or will Allen come to the aid cause he's really getting pissed off now.

The return of Allen would be awfully lame - not only is he apparently unable to move for the moment, but we already know he doesn't stand a chance against the level 4. I think we'll see lots and lots of Lenalee agonizing over various things (probably about not being able to fight, worrying her brother, and wanting to save her friends) and then asskicking.

So long as it's less agonising and more ass-kicking, that sounds pretty good to me.

And yeah, I don't think he actually DID cut him... thought he did at first, though, and thought that was cool. But now I'm just a bit confused about what exactly that is in that frame.... not that it really matters :)

Komui did get cut somehow, since he's bleeding - so maybe Kanda missed and hit Komui after all. On the other hand, the level 4 can apparently make people's heads explode, so maybe cutting Komui was an accident (when it moved away to avoid Kanda). Who knows. Komui probably isn't dying, so...

just finished reading the entire series yesterday.

i noticed that the vampire dude hasn't came out yet, maybe he'll come and eat up the new L4 !
