Thread: -1, apparently. How will it affect the current balance of powers?

Lets assume two impossible things:

1) Hoshino have really killed Tiedoll.
2) Order was more or less on par in terms of powers with Noahs before the said event.

Assuming one of Generals - one of five most powerful people in Order - have just passed away, how will it affect the war? Considering Earl has just got an unusually powerful Akuma that might very well be at the same level with Generals, it may have a great influence on the whole situation. AND Allen is not "clean" two, if he won't be avle to hide his secret, he might get exectuted - which basically means that Order can not count on him anymore.

So, the question is - what should Order and Earl do?

Tiedoll had one of very few defensive Innocences in the Order, which means that while his possible loss shouldn't matter in terms of the strength the Order can exert against the Earl and his army, the Order now has one less place to recover and protecting their forces will be more difficult. On the other hand, we never really saw Tiedoll use his powers anyway, so it's possible that it may not have a great effect. Miranda's power has always been used as much as possible and this probably won't change anything (except, perhaps, more pressure on her to upgrade her Innocence so that it can be used on more people for a greater period of time... but that was probably always expected of her).

Losing Allen might be a bigger loss since he can see akuma from a great distance... well, and he has a powerful weapon, too.

About Tiedoll I can not agree. He was made into a general for a reason, and that reason being that he is hella strong. If he was not powerful, he wouldn't be given such a rank. The fact that we hav enever seen him in a real fight doesn't mean that he can't fight at all. Yeah, he has a defncive innocence, but what exectly the defencive innocence is? It just means that he can defend better then attack, nothing more. Miranda is another case, she is support type, not defencive one.

As far as we know, Generals are only Generals because their invocation rate is over 100%, not because they're technically stronger than any other Exorcist. Tiedoll's invocation is undoubtedly powerful in its own way, but it's unknown to us whether it can be offensive or, like Miranda's, it is purely defensive and serves no other purpose in battle (so a "support" type, as you said). One would think that he would have used it like that if it was possible, since both times he's used his Innocence the battle has been fierce and all Exorcists are needed to attack.

Tiedoll also showed a Offensive mode. But the Akuma killed every general if you look at the crater. Everyone besides Allen was in there

Tiedoll had his giant Eden thing take out one of the uber-Akumas when the other Exorcists were invading the Ark way back in Japan.

Precisely.. He has the Marker/Maker of Eden and Effigy of Eden.. Imagine if all the Generals were wiped out right now

Oh, did he? Makes me wonder why he didn't use it this time if he could... well, somehow, I think Hoshino has planned his death (if it happened) so that it won't affect the Order too much.

As strangely awesome as it would be if everyone who fell into that crater died, it's probably not happening. That's just too many important people to kill off at once.

@ Lazaj: The difference between all others and Tiedoll is that he was in the epicenter and others were not.

All the Generals - and the Exorcists and scientists - fell down the great big hole that the akuma made. Of course, that's a lot of people to kill at once and in such a lame way, so...
