I think Stained might have been referring to Allen's Ark-controlling abilities, which may not have anything to do with him being a Noah or not... but in terms of attacks, yeah.

I think that a rushed power up for Linalee will be lame - like how she was damsel in distress a minute ago and now she is a super-powerful monster. It's better to make it gradual. No need to rush.

It happened to Allen. o_o Lenalee hasn't been shown to need saving since... what, the Ark, right (and those were minor events - the Jasdevi thing, being stranged by Tiki)? Recent chapters have had more emphasis on Lenalee wanting to fight and not having the opportunity to do so. She was never really that weak in the first place, so I don't think it would be weird at all for her to fight and possibly beat the akuma as long as she keeps her speed.

Only those of Noah family can control Arc.

If 4lvl goes further into office, Linalee receives her role once again, as she'll be on of those being targeted by Akuma and she can't defend herself. Right now she is hella weak. Changing that in an instant/one-two chapters is what i consider lame.

The Earl seemed to believe that it was possible for a Noah to pass powers on to a human and let the human be nothing other than just a human who can control the Ark. However, Allen's connection with the 14th probably means otherwise.

His power-up wasn't really lame. The sword one was, but Crowned Clown was pretty awesome.

I meant that they weren't the main focus of the plot - with Tiki, Lenalee was the one to comment on Chaoji and talk to him (since Allen and Lavi had been knocked out). The Jasdevi thing didn't seem to be showing off her weakness as much as other things - Jasdevi's power, and the level of trust between the best pair ever. <3 If there had been an arc of more than two chapters focused on "rescue Lenalee!", well... but that never happened.

Lenalee is weak because she doesn't have her Innocence at the moment. =P She also hasn't been able to activate it in recent times because she probably didn't know how to (that should be solved now that she knows it may not be Equipment-type anymore). If Lenalee gets her Innocence back from Hevlaska, the potential for reasonable strength is still there, unlike for Lavi and Kanda who don't have functional Innocence at all at the moment.

And come on, would you really rather have Chaoji save the day? =P

Are you referring to how Earl suspected Cross of being Noah?

His power-up wasn't really lame. The sword one was, but Crowned Clown was pretty awesome.

The way Hoshino carried it out is what's lame.

All the comments referred to a "human controller", which would imply that it's exactly what it sounds like - a human who can control the Ark. There's nothing about that person becoming a Noah themselves.

Of course. Just don't make her get it back in the middle of the battle.

I can see one of two things: either Lenalee activates her Innocence right away and kicks ass (probably on the battlefield, though), or she gets kicked around while being more frustrated at not being able to do anything and gets the power. Power-up gains are never really uniquely written anyway, and this last arc has been so terrible that just getting Lenalee out of that state would make me happy enough (or adding romance).

Saving lame day by adding more lameness? Thanks, no. If you want to synchronize power-up with character development, OK, it's good. But not when it was used twice already.

It wasn't mentioned in the context of being a Noah... more like "just" a human. After all, the traitor Noah was still described as a Noah.

The fact that his arm was destroyed and then he just got it back, or was it the close-to-death-while-fighting-the-akuma part?

I'd prefer Lenalee getting a power-up to someone like Kanda fighting (which would be really lame, especially since he can't) - and once Lenalee gets a power-up and it ends, we can forget that this arc ever existed.

I really hope Lenalee gets into action so that we can see how her innocence effected her. Maybe some mutated legs ^_^/)

And I'm all for Klaud going beserk on the Akuma. :P She could use her little Monkey to wreak havoc and maybe use her whip as an innocence.

Unless the next chapter is just a distraction so Lenalee can be tortured some more, she'll get her power-up and be back in action~~~

Although Lau Shiimin would be awesome, too. We need more of that little guy. <3
