Raw. Here.
For some reason, this chapter almost made me cry. No, the fight isn't over yet, but... I dunno... something about it. I do feel really bad for Allen, though.
(Yeah, and he got beaten up again, just as I predicted.)

Good thing he got beat up. I really liked his expression at end.
Digi, do you like...Claymore ?
So. 4lvl is strong. Well, at least it promises us some cool figths in the future.
I like Claymore, yes? o_o I am one of the section's mods?!
I think this would be an excellent opportunity for Allen's shadow-self to show itself again and do something fun. That's one power-up we've been... anticipating. :3
And hey, it gets the akuma out of the way. ("Self-destruct NAO!" "ok." *boom* "...I killed it. T_T" Okay, well, maybe not, but who knows.)
I really liked this chapter. Not alot happened, but the atmosphere was pretty cool. Weird how the Lv4 thing seemed to change the personality so much. It seemed almost sympathetic to Allen at the start, until it remembered that it was supposed to be a killing machine.
Also, I wonder what the soul looks like so that it's that horrible to look at, and why it's changed for this level?
ALSO, is it invisible? Allen was right by Noise and Bookman when he started fighting, and yet neither of them reacted. Noise just said he could "hear" the sound of an Akuma. And when Bookman looked around, it seemed like he couldn't see anything... or ... maybe the whole thing is taking place inside Allen's head?
This chapter really did make me cry after I re-read it a few times. Between Allen's helplessness and genuine sadness, and the akuma's innocent and childlike appearance that make its killing talk seem terribly wrong, this chapter almost feels tragic. The akuma seems less like a machine than a really, really messed-up child.
And Sherman, you may be right! Bookman/Noise (couldn't tell what) said that it was the "noise of an akuma" - but it should have been right in front of them. And isn't it just great that the only guy who apparently can see it is now knocked out? (It's interesting that Allen didn't comment on being able to see it through his left eye only, though. It's clear from the image we had in volume 5 that the left eye sees the "soul", but doesn't make the akuma invisible to the right eye.)
Yeah. Noise mad the comment about hearing the Akuma - that's what he does. Hears things. That's why he has those funky earmuffs. Also, for a couple of chapters now, we've only been seeing Allen's reactions to the Akuma - remember how he was the only one who could sense it approaching back before we saw it?
Waiting for lv.5 to appear in next 50 chapters.
Digi, do you like RPG ? :)
We'll only see level 5s if level 4s turn out to be easily taken down by other Exorcists - probably Generals. (Allen doesn't count because it's his role in the manga to be beaten up by every single enemy he faces). Since Allen's next power-up will probably be the expected one relating to Noah abilities, not Innocence-strength...
The "noise" was written in katakana, so that's a bit weird, but anyway. I'm really anxious to see what Allen dreams of now that he's kinda dead again.
