It's not really that important, so I doubt that it will be ever shown. Unless to deepen Linalees character somehow.

I'm just curious. We're probably going to see more flashbacks to Allen's childhood, so why not learn about a character who is nearly as important as he is?

Probably because it is not going to reveal any important secrets.

...Then I'm kinda hoping there is an important secret, like the Order set up Lenalee's family to be killed so that she could be kidnapped and taken away...

Oreder set up a murder by Akuma.... Its hardly possible you know....Unless Crosses Akuma are involved.

Yeah, I don't know how that would work - but I suppose it could be Cross's akuma. It doesn't seem to be a well-known fact, but who knows if the higher-ups are aware of it. Another possibility is the spreading of rumours or planting of Innocence in that area to attract akuma.

Linalee is not a parasytic type, so her innocence was most likely found in some other place. It could have easily been just some random Akuma, who happened to be around; who knows.

Hence the "planting" of Innocence - the Order leaves a piece of Innocence near Lenalee and the akuma come to look for it. It probably was a random akuma, but I like the idea of a conspiracy...

Who knows. However, her family dying at the hands of an akuma would probably make her hate akuma more, and it'd be easier to get her to fight against them.
