Yeah, that's the obvious explanation... Allen's eye is still activated, after all = there is an akuma nearby. It shouldn't be a long fight unless Allen spends the chapter whining about how his friends died - it's an akuma, and not even a very powerful one at that (how many people can it have killed, really).

Yes, now Allen has the eye actually activated. Better chances to get that eye with these pretty lashes xD

...sneaking attack on any General for that weakened Akuma is suicide...unless the General REALLY is off-guard-caught.

It is dead for sure anyways. So a decision to at least kick a couple of asses before death doesn't sound that illogical.

Sokaro doesn't seem like he's got too many brain cells to work with. =P Anyway, if Allen can't see the akuma - only know it's there - why not? I suppose it could happen to any General, but Sokaro just seems like the most doomed to me (Cloud and Tiedoll have lots of potential. There are plenty of purely offensive Exorcists out there).

Okay, is it me or do I see an ending brewing up? I mean the only thing left in the mystery of DGM is Mana, the other Noah's and some other secrets that am too lazy to look up. Since they've destroyed the Plant, there won't be any additional Akuma anymore. (I estimate about 40-50 more chaps, or even less.. IDK)

Anyways on to what I think about the chapter. First and foremost, MONKEY = WIN! XD. I mean that thing was amazing. It could be a CQC type and a long range type! Also I'm guessing after this chapter we'll see the inclusion of Allen into the ranks of general, though I'm not sure...Next is that I see in the future there'll be a Lulu and Tyki team up to beat the shit out of Allen. (Just a thought...) And finally, what the hell was that white lump thingy? Was that Allen? Or was it the cause of the generals firing their weapons on the egg?

Nuooooo, please don't make me worry with this talk of an ending. It worries me...

Cross seems to be aware of Allen's power/status, and now the other Generals are, but do the people who matter know or care? And do they trust Allen to have that responsibility, not just because he could have ties to the Noah but also because he's still really young? It'd be great to see him have that power and be included in those secret meetings, though.

The white lump was Allen; you could see in a panel on page 12 that he was hiding under his (white) cloak.

For the General matter, I agree with Digi. They won't promote someone so young into a job with so much responsibility in it. Also, he is still suspected of being Noah. And it will be simply embarrasing to see someone with Allens level of IQ to attend those meetings.

I do not think we will see Lulu and Tyky teaming up to kick Allens ass anytime soon. The reason being that Earl probably has some other jobs with higher priority for them, looking at how a new factory for akuma should be constructed (if it is even possible). Also, if taking out Allen right now was that easy, Earl would have sent Tyky and someone else with Lulu already. But seeing that it didn't happen we can conclude that the matter of Allen is not the one which concerns Earl the most.

Well, the Egg had to have come from somewhere, right? And presumably, if it was created, it was created by the Earl. SO, either the Earl can make another, OR, it was in the Ark to start with, meaning..... it's from God!

And as for this approaching Akuma... it's probably something special. Remember all that gas that was around in Chapter 143? That seemed to be what awakened it. So it seems like some kind of sub-plan by the Noah Team has been in action over the last little bit. This may be a big surprise!

From what Earl have told us, I got the impression that both human and Akuma were born in the old Ark, more precisely the Egg. And the one who created it was God. Considering that Earl was capable of creating the new Ark it may be possible for him to create new Egg was well. The reason for him to try to return teh old one may be that the process of building takes too much time and he is not willing to wait for so much time.

It may be something special of course, but didn't it seem like a 3rd level Akuma? Or did Hoshino create some new weapon for Earl besides akuma and Noah?
