In the end it's still the lack of info on our side - we do not know what both Allen and Inspector know, so it's hard to predict thier actions.

Makes sense (obviously). I actually wanna know what he is planning for using Link now...for that 'mission'. And ....where is that guy now?
-
He probably will be watching Allen even more intentively. After all, he sent Link before Allen destroyed Egg, so Inspector had a lot of reasons to keep an eye on Allen during the battle, so that he won't escape somewhere while everione is fighting. And actually even now, Inspacteor can think something like "Hm, he destroyed the egg. But this might be a part of Earls plan - they'll create another factory for Akuma secretly while we will think that there is no more such a think after Allen destroyed the egg. And by doing this he plans to make us trust him." So even now Rouvelier has his reasons to watch out for Allen.
-
Maybe he also thinks that the Earl already has another egg (which isn't true, but ...) and this whole invasion was just farce to cover Allen. But he only would assume that if he really, really is suspicious of Allen.
Keeping an eye on Allen is easier said that done. Sending Link to the battle field with all the poisoned gas around there...? But he surely intends this.
-
For now he seems to be "really, really is suspicious of Allen". He is like some secret police officer who is searching for soys. And in his eye Allen is some kind of saboteur.
Well, I doubt that Link is really what he wants others to see him as. He wouldn't be getting secret missions in the middle of a war if he wasn't fully capable of handling them.
-
...okay, so that egg-destruction isn't enough to clean Allen in Malcolm's eyes. Allen would have to kill a Noah....or something like that where Malcolm sees it personally.
He also didn't seem happy as he received the secret mission. He rather seemed like a forcefully obedient servant ...sorta like that. He's a rather a person where people can make fun of (like in the bathroom xD)...and he can bake cakes/pies...is this a rubbing off of Malcolm? xD Well, he has more sympathy than Malcolm.

Oh, thanks for reminding me! Chaoji's role as anthagonist may become more important! If he reports to Inspector that Allen tried to save Tyky, it would become a hell of a n argument to kick Allens ass a couple of times.
He seems clumsy. Seems. If he is a competent secret agent (although for now he is more like a clown) he should be able to fool exorcists. They are after all, kids.
I dunno, I didn't think that he looked unpleasant with his task when reading a chapter.

Of course, Allen won't kill just becasue he is told to. And that can become a part of an evidence against him. That is, if Chaoji will play his role till the and and will report about that occurrence. If he does so, he might make Inspector even more sure about Allen guiltiness and it can be used to convince other members of that "round table" committee.
Well, i just wish he had one besides that of a rock. Because for now Link is hardly an interesting character.
