Thread: Chapter 143 Discussion - Johnny gets owned again.

Anyway, I'm not happy that this battle hasn't ended yet, since it's becoming really boring, but at least we had some conversation in there. Oh, and Johnny is such a loser, isn't he. =D

Johnny's not dead yet? Man, die hard much? (to think that with that kind of injuries he shouldn't move, much less chase after some walking undead.)

Well it IS Cross, I doubt that no woman in their world doesn't know him.

ohhhhh, I like the gun/bow thing =D. Also the water thingy art was amazing. (The water thingy is Lulu I assume.)

I guess his injuries aren't as bad as we thought. He did collapse at first, but he got poked in the back, so maybe it didn't hit vital organs. He's probably among the "seriously injured", though.

...maybe I was right about Cross and Lulu Bell after all. o_O

(Yup, the water thing is the Noah. She looks like Lau Shiimin, though...)

Hey, I thought this chapter was pretty cool. I'm actually enjoying this battle over the Egg - it's only been a few chapters and the egg is, you know, pretty important.

I'm enjoying seeing all the Generals in their full form - we haven't seen power of this level at all for 140 chapters, so I don't think it's too much to spend a few chapters on it. And it looks like Hitler has some sneaky part to play as well. Dodgy bastard.

Also, guess the giant doll type Akuma is reviving itself - cos of that gas?

It was cool for a battle chapter, but I'm a little tired of those. Just a little.

I'd like to know what that Inspector is planning, sending Link to do something secret. The only things we've seen him focused on so far are the Egg (which the good guys want to destroy) and Allen (which he seems to want to do something with, if not kill)... and they're both in the same place right now... I can't think of anything at the moment, but it probably has to do with one of the two (I'd bet on Allen - it's been stated that only three of the Generals could destroy the Egg). But why would Link need to be "in good shape"?

Maybe Link is an exorcist secretly in service for Hitler or maybe a magician (like Fat-boy Earl and the redheaded pimp Cross) or maybe Hitler's pet akuma. The drawing in this chapter is rather messy isn't it.

I can't see Link being an Exorcist - that'd have to be a secret from some high-ranked people (like Komui), and the Order seems to be in a bit of a crisis right now. LeVerrier seems loyal to the Order, and I doubt they'd let him get away with something like that (assuming he'd do it, with that kind of loyalty. He isn't Cross). He can't be an akuma, either, because Allen would have noticed... although I like that theory... the Earl sends akuma to watch awakening Noah, after all. ^_~ And Link is kind of lacking a personality. Personally, I'm of the opinion that he's just your average human minion.

I have to agree with Sherman here, this battle is not that bad - it is not long enough to be boring, it has meaning (as Sherman pointed out, egg is very important) and finally we see the maximum power level - the power of generals. Althout it is not as amazing as Naruto's first top battle (Hokage vs Oro) I still like the way it is being carried out.

I agree, he is way to avarage to be an important character and for now haven't shown enough skills to be clasified as Inspectors trump card. I can hardly imagine him playing some major role later.

Yup, that guy. As far as we know, his only skill is making pies and being a good minion. The largest role I can see him having is revealing (or failing to reveal) some information that will either set a main character or a group of them on one path, or save them from that Inspector. It might be an important role, but it doesn't mean he needs a character.

Of the Order? I meant why he'd need to be in good shape for that mission he has... like what would he be doing...

Yeah, I'm with you here, it should end as fast as possible - no need to prolong it, it's not Bleach. We have already seen everything what we needed, just showing any more pointless akuma-killing by obviously overwhelming generals' strength won't help plot to progress in any way.

For now ending seems pretty clear. Eggs capturing failed (?). What interests me more is what will inspector do to Allen after the battle ends.

Thats right, he doesn't need to be special if he is there just to reveal info. But he doesn't seem to have anything important to uncover at all, does he?

Order = Military in every possible way. And for military member to be in a good form is a given (no?).
