Thread: Chapter 143 Discussion - Johnny gets owned again.

I think Timcanpy has more of a personality and a greater mental capacity than a dog; he can't talk, though, so that does make it different than speaking to an actual person. Allen probably talks to Tim because that's the only... um, being... who's been around him for the past three years consistently, his oldest friend. xD Allen probably needs to engage in some actual conversation, though...

Thats right, he needs real conversation, not just monologues.

I guess he can always share his food with Timcanpy. Not much of an improvement, though. xD When was the last time Allen and Lenalee interacted, anyway - chapter 134, when he yelled at Cross for hitting on her...?!

Yeah, around that time. Right now they are banned from meating each other, aren't they. With Allen being under semi-arrest I doubt that he can meet whoever he want.

Allen is banned from meeting Cross; I don't think there's anything that says he can't meet Lenalee. He's been hanging around Lavi and Bookman, after all. Link also introduced himself when Allen was eating lunch(?) with her (and Lavi and Miranda - there was no actual interaction that we saw), and it looks like Lenalee ran off on her own after that. Damnit~ why can't they just talk a little...

Well, if there are no physical obstacles to thier talk, then there are none. I mean, if they are not banned from meeting each other and if this situation doesn't change after the battle then they can easily talk anytime. All what is needed is Hoshino's wish. If she feels like it is the rigth time for more characters and relationship developement she can just drwaw thier dialog on innocecne matter.

Lenalee doesn't even have her Innocence right now; there's really no reason to prevent them from talking unless Allen gets thrown in solitary confinement. If Allen remains at the Order, there had better be a talking scene - Lenalee's spoken to Kanda of all people; why not someone who she's talked to before in the manga?

Her reason to speak with Kanda was that they are acquainted for a long time: it didn't seem to be thier first talk of this kind.

Yeah, I said "in the manga" (meaning, that we've seen). Come on, she talks to Allen, too~ She can see what's wrong with him~

Well, the problem of being frank is not at her end, its' at Allens. Alhtouhg, you might be right, he might open his soul if she start this conversation.
