Chapter 142 Discussion

Well, we still haven't seen Lulubell take action yet. I'm thinking we'll see a bit of her powers before the battle is over.

Love the ownage though. There's a real power gap between the generals and the run-of-the-mill exorcists.

That's assuming Lulu Bell is going to notice and return, though. She already went into the black Ark, and it may be that she isn't going to return yet because the Generals have arrived (and if a Noah can be defeated by a single Exorcist, imagine one Noah against four Generals and two Exorcists in fighting condition).

I don't think the Generals are really so much more powerful than the average Exorcists. Allen could take on a level 3 easily before he got his sword, and I think Kanda kicked some butt in Edo, too. The only person we've seen do badly against a level 3 was Lenalee, and it wasn't due to strength, but rather that its abilities conflicted with her own (she would probably have done better against an akuma that didn't prevent her from using all of her abilities). Until we see more Exorcist-vs-level-3 battles, or General-vs-Noah ones (a real battle, not Cross shooting Tiki so that we can get back to the plot), I think the power difference might not be as great as we think it is.

I never expected the monkey to be an Innocence xD I was expecting more of a whip or Ivy, from soul caliber, like weapon. (But not a monkey)

I was expecting more from Sokaro (I hate his name). Even though he pwned with his blender like Innocence, I was expecting more of a from "solid to nothing" type power.

(I still can't get over the monkey Innocence XD)

Well, she does have a whip, just to control the monkey, apparently... I expected her scar to have something to do with her Innocence. o_o

Sokaro is major pwnage, but we see a lot of characters like him in manga. Hoshino seems to favour the pretty-boy type, and now that we've seen a lot of Sokaro, I think he might be the next General to go (Tiedoll's Innocence is too important unless Hoshino wants to destroy the Order, Cloud is one of a few female characters, and Cross is... Cross). It could even be soon.

Eh...Klaud said the Innocence is parasite, right? So is it the monkey's Innocence or something from Klaud getting the form of a monkey? o.o Though I don't think my try of explanation (question?) is logic. I am just trying to understand...which I don't o.O

The monkey is the Innocence, she just controls the moneky.

(Yeah before the transformation, the monkey was cute. Hmm, now that I think about it, she's pretty vulnerable when the monkey is really far, so I'm guessing she got a secondary Innocence. Like, Judgement and Maria:Cross = something and the monkey:Cloud/Klaud)

It seemed as if the parasitic Innocence was in the monkey, since that's what makes it a parasite rather than a weapon... well, it doesn't seem as if Accomodators must be human, after all... Maybe it was Cloud's Innocence originally and this monkey form is like Allen's sword - she does seem to have some kind of facial injury. I doubt she has a second Innocence (Maria isn't an Innocence of Cross's; she was once a person), so maybe the monkey is a manifestation of her eye or something like that.

Not all guys like blood, apparently (in DGM), just the really manly ones (haha, Krory).

Hmm, maybe.

(But technically Cross is still using Maria, I guess Cross is a proxy since Maria is dead?)

We really need a FAQ book or something for all the info (I think its about time Hoshino released one.)

It would be not good if also animals can be hosts for innocences...because animals act on instinct, not my mind...
