A kick by someone - since we're talking about a move towards a relationship that's more than just how-they-feel-inside, Cross would be appropriate. He needs to learn more when it comes to emotions, too (so that the women he loves know about it before they DIE!).

Mana as Cross's guy-friend who teaches his pal about how women feel so that Cross can have a relationship? Those kinds of sidekick characters exist... hm. No wonder Allen is so different from typical shounen-manga heroes.
:) My thoughts exactly. Or maybe the Scientists (Johnny, Reever...and whoever survives) start trying to get them together...
The scientists need girlfriends first - Mana could have already had one, but at the very least he did have a child, which means it's okay for him to be that sort of friend. It'd be like Allen trying to get Lavi/Kanda to get along with women without solving any issues with Lenalee...
Ooookay, no such good idea. But I kinda see Johnny trying to set up Allen and Lenalee to meet each other under a mistletoe or so...
Johnny and some of the others, maybe, yeah... Reever would tag along (maybe he'd see it as a trap for Komui so he could make the Supervisor do some work), and Bak would whine and cry and attempt to sabotage it. It'd be cute.
And funny. I think if Fou could leave the Asia Branch (which isn't the case, sadly) she'd be a big help as well....with her metamorphosis ability <3 Reever would be kinda annoyed first before he sees the opportunity to get Komui doing some work. But ye,s he'd tag along sooner or later.
And Lou Fa would of course want to stop them...but her two other scientists friends can keep her away...I hope.
(I'd be worried that Fou would try and break up the pair, like Bak would...) I think Reever would see it as a waste of time and then go along with it while hiding his motives. He's a good guy, though. He'd probably end up miserable after that, though, since he's still young and hasn't really... well, no girlfriend...
I'm sure someone else could distract Rou Fa for a while (Lavi, by accident? Cross?).
