The akuma are obviously going after the plant and not trying to destroy the Order. If taking out all the generals and higher ups was this easy they would have done it already. The egg is extremely important to the Earl so they need to get it back no matter the cost.

As Sixth Angel said, but somehow it was too easy to get in there - I think Allen trail will be postponed after this event, since the have a little bigger traitor here....

Simple - they will have other things on hand than that and Allen will probably fight now, proving that he might not be associated with Noah - they will make Link keep an eye on Allen longer, especially on missions.
By the way, Malcolm didn't look really evil this chapter nor he seemed to do anything to Lenalee - he really was just there and was looking at Lenalee's innocence. Moreover, from Lenalee acting I can't really tell how much she is traumatised by him - it didn't look really serious from Lenalee and Kanda conversation, she just can't face this guy because his look involve bad memories..and well, he isn't the prettiest one. If she did hate him with passion at least she would say something about him, she just said she was running away. I always felt that whole Lenalee thing was not developed enough, it's hard for me to actually see her feelings about it nor she stated much of opinion.

If they're going to suspect a traitor, it'd be Allen or Cross. They might just assume that the Noah found their own way in, too.
LeVerrier didn't really do anything in this chapter, yeah. I think Lenalee's conversation with Kanda was meant to show their past together, but she did say that she ran off (to Kanda, no less!) whenever she wanted to escape from him. Obviously, he WAS scary. As for her, well, a lot of D.Gray-Man characters just aren't that open about their pasts/feelings. The only person we've seen Lenalee really open up to is Allen, and they haven't had any on-screen contact since everyone returned to the Order. And why would she say anything about it? Pretty much everyone she HAS been in contact with (Kanda and Reever) already know about it, so there's no need for her to say anything. I guess she'll probably talk to Allen about it later and then we'll have some idea of what happened.

Well that truly was a bit surprising that Lenalee and Kanda know each other for that long...it sounds at least like they know each other since they were small.
I knew that Johnny dies...but actually seeing it makes me sad T.T

It isn't surprising that Kanda and Lenalee know each other for along time. Lenalee has been taken to the Order when she was 6 and even though I don't know when Kanda came to the Order, from the interaction with his team and the General it seems like it's also quite some time.

Think they made same experiments on Kanda ? Probably only Lavi, Allen and new exorcist (Chaoji, Crowley and Miranda) didn't need to go through them since Order had already enough knowledge about innocence.
..or maybe the experiments stopped when Hevlaska appeared, since she was more efficient.
