Is the Heart Transferrable? (includes spoilers for chapter 136)
Basically, do you think the Heart a property of the Innocence wielder, or of the Innocence itself?
I've wondered, ever since I learned that each General carries some Innocence fragments with them. Does each have the same potential, which only manifest in fixed way upon selecting their bearer? Meaning, if a person is compatible with an Innocence, he can just get one from the General who found him -- rather than being specifically compatible to an Innocence that another General 5000 miles away might be carrying ...?
And if that is so ... if an Innocence is found or suspected to be the Heart, would it be possible to transfer it to or switch it with another person? Because if the Central Administration learn about the speculation that Allen's Innocence might be the Heart as well, since he was saved by it, would they try to remove a parasitic Innocence and give it to someone else? (Since Allen might be seen as an Exorcist of questionable loyalty) Or would it be attuned only to him? I'd be very happy to see them forced to eat their words, in that case.

Transfer innocence, like through bodily fluid exchange ? I don't think it's possible - not every exorcist is compatible to every innocence, so it would be quite a hassle find a person compatible to Allen innocence.
Moreover, those with innocence are chosen by god - they loyalty shouldn't be questioned - Suman betrayed and paid quite a price...so there is not much of betraying cases in DGM.

The Heart is described as the Heart of Innocence, and its destruction means the destruction of all Innocence, not the death of its Accomodator... it seems to me that it would be a property of Innocence.
...I didn't think of the idea that any Accomodator could use any Innocence, but now that you mention it, it actually seems slightly likely. This point needs clarification from Hoshino, actually. ^^;; There have been incidents that would support either that idea, or the one-Innocence-per-Accomodator thing. On one hand, there was the Order's experiment with the boy that ended up making the Fallen; Cross also gave Innocence to Krory (and with 109 units, how would he know which one to use); people are mentioned as being compatible with INNOCENCE, not THEIR Innocence (although this could be a translation thing). On the other hand, we've never seen anyone synchronize with an Innocence besides their own, and Innocence does tend to find its Accomodators (in the cases of Miranda and Chaoji, for instance...).
...But overall, I think you're right on the idea of any compatible person using any Innocence. That actually might be what makes the Heart unique: it may not be compatible with just anyone, which I guess would mean that it's based on the Innocence and the user. Huh. That lends support to Allen having it, since he was born with it, and lessen the possibility of it being Lenalee, who was given Innocence. That would explain why rumours of the Heart have been around for a while - if it was just based on the accomodator, then the Heart technically would not exist at a certain point.
Of course, Allen kind of has to die for his Innocence to be taken away, and the Order knows that, so I doubt we'll be seeing that happen at any point. They don't even think it's him, anyway.
Edit: Kolox, the Order obviously thinks betrayal is possible, so anyone less than perfect is in trouble. And it's entirely possible that Innocence only reacts when it feels like it - maybe Allen's Innocence likes him and doesn't feel like giving up its owner. =P

Well, Allen's synchro ratio is now pretty high....yes, his Innocence is very attached to Allen xD

Hm, but actually Allen's Innocence doesn't seem to mind Noah power in general....Allen should have the Noah power for quite a while now, so it really seems like the Innocence have some sort of own mind ...and a logical one.

..and then make him have an intercourse with female exorcist to transfer his innocence to someone else ?
<Wishful thinking>

Err....thank god this isn't an ecchi manga.
