Napoleon didn't want to destroy the world, but rule europe - he failed when he went east, he wasn't prepared for our cold winters...pity, actually. We, Polish, had high hopes for Napoleon and he helped us a lot.

The Earl was around during the Great Flood, and I don't think France existed then - he's older than that. He probably isn't of a specific race (except for the bunnies!).

Why bunnies? he doesn't have rabbit ears or such, he isn't even furry! Hmm, if the flood wiped out all the people in the world and Noah was the lone survivor then where did the Earl come from?

...are you SURE about the rabbit ears bit? :3 That was an omake subject way back in... volume 2 or something. ^^;;

The Earl is not human, of course! Actually, that makes one wonder what happened to the Exorcists: how could they know what happened to the world if they didn't live, too?

Hmm, he can't be not-human, I mean, Being a demon would be too cliche and him being a survivor along with noah would be a neat little twist.

It would be pretty cool if the survivor bit was true, but that seems a bit unlikely. Maybe the Earl's use of magic gave him immortality in exchange for his weird appearance or something like that? He seems to use it, after all.

Or he stumbled on something forbidden and "God" punished him and gave him immortality. It would explain why he would like to destroy the world. (For him immortality is a curse.)
