Digi, your just being stubborn - it wouldn't be lame to do something opposite to what some idiot said to you If Allen says "Don't touch Rinali" it's only obvious that you should do the exact opposite if you want him to do something. That's a threatening !!

Okay, Kolox, yes, he could have said that, but the best way to get Allen to stay there and play the piano like he's supposed to is to give a threat like debt. Anything else would either be ineffective ("I'll kick your ass" - what, before or after they die?), or cause Allen to become distracted and not do what he's supposed to be doing ("I'll touch Lenalee!" "WTF YOU BASTARD I'LL KILL YOU!" "*punch* Okay, forget living - I'd rather die than be touched by this asshole." Right, Lenalee is kind of violent too. =P).

Lenalee would be more confused that violent and I think she wouldn't be stupid enough to not notice that Cross is making fun of Allen ..or maybe she is so stupid. Who cares, he is a handsome general, she will do anything for him

'I'll kick your ass' can more or else mean "Do it you sissy or we are all screwed by the fact that your hesitating, what you are, Megaman who couldn't kill Dr.Willy for all 10 sequel games which appeared ? If I was there I would kick your ass and make you play this piano even if you were to use only your teeths !". Only that the first sentence is quite shorter than the second one.
Allen knows he can't do anything to Cross if he is in this reality - he just needs to play piano and then he can't beat him up - as simple as that.

...no, I think Lenalee would injure Cross if he actually tried anything. She might even do so if he threatened to - she doesn't seem to trust him very much.

I know "I'll kick your ass" doesn't mean that, but Allen isn't that bright and obviously needs something that will get him off his behind and to the piano NOW, and that wouldn't do the trick. The best way is just to scare him with something that is guaranteed to work, and not have any ill effects.

Kolox, are you sure you're not the one who's strange for hating the mention of debt too much? I haven't seen anyone else who complains about it at all, much less as often as you do...

We are talking about replacement. I don't hate it, I find it extremely tedious and boring and completely unfitting to the situation, like Hoshino forced this joke into the situation. The theme is funny, overall, Master and apprentice who needs to clean up after him, but not only it's getting a little repetitive, it's overused.

I didn't feel it was forced at all; I actually am amused by the fact that it still remains an issue that can be funny after such a long period of time. Even the insertions are fairly natural - it isn't brought up very often, and it's done under circumstances where it makes little sense not to (come on, how could Cross NOT mention debt at least once when it has so much to do with him?)

Actually, I always had the impression that Cross never cared about such things and that's why other were paying his bills. He felt it was obvious that others should pay for him. That impression dissapeared after he said that.

Hey! At least, Zero came out because of that.

The fact that Zero come out of it was the reason behind Sigma wars - Zero was the first Maverick who was barely stopped by Commander Sigma. If Megaman (X) killed Willy a little faster, this whole mess wouldn't happen...but we all know it's Doctors Lights fault for not seeing the fact that his robots can (SUPRISE) be used for fighting purposes.

.....hmm..although that way I wouldn't be able to enjoy Megaman Zero on Gameboy Advance...maybe it's good to be gullible idiot for some anime characters.

Well, technically, yes. Zero carried the virus, and that was what infected Sigma. Anyway, I cannot care less about that, Zero is awesome.
