^You know that it already closed when the Earl went through it right?

It wasn't possible for them to have a match seeing that the Ark was already in its last few minutes, and it was inevitable that Allen did what he did.

Thanks for silverwmoon for the purty sig :3

Yes, the Earl said "it was you", implying that Cross was that "musician" person or whatever. Of course, the Earl could always be wrong. :3 Cross didn't say anything that left him no other choice but to be that person, after all.

I don't know what was up with the belt; he's used it in pretty fast situations before. Insane Allen is so cute. ^_^

It was probably too early to see Cross and the Earl fight; the Earl has never seriously fought anyone, and he's got to be pretty powerful... and he probably wouldn't be able to go easy on Cross. I really like how this chapter went, actually; aside from the lack of romance, it was better than what I had thought it would be.

^I like (Insane is a really harsh word) "snapped" Allen, he's more bloodthirsty.

I really think that he wasn't expecting the fall of Lavi and Chaoji (since Lavi has "extend") so he didn't need the belt, I guess.

I think the Earl's powerful since the beginning of the war. No power-ups for him. Why would he go easy? Remember they are still looking for the heart, and well maybe its one of Cross'.

Thanks for silverwmoon for the purty sig :3

Perhaps this is too moody, but that honestly bothered me. I know she can't really do anything by herself right now since her Innocence has exhausted itself and she can't invocate, but I've really gotten the feeling she's become more of the background "cheerleader" type girl character so often found in shonen, and if that's the case, that really bothers me. I was hoping that she'd remain a strong character until the end, and she very well may, but...I don't know. I'm losing my train of thought, I suppose....

It was nice that we're possibly going to learn something about the Noah next chapter, and I'm hoping that the exorcists we've seen "die" are still alive (or at least Lavi and Krory are; I didn't really care about Chaoji, and Kanda can burn in hell for being an utter bastard for all I care), though that may seem cheesy or cliche.

It's also nice to see the indication that Tyki, at least, will apparently be a continuing major player in the series (though, again, I wish Road had gotten to stick around as well, since she was probably one of the more mysterious characters in the series other than Kanda, and I really would've cared to learn more about her than Kanda), as well as the fact that the Earl may have actually been expecting something like this. Which begs the fact: do we know how many times the Earl has actually tried to activate the Ark in it's entirety? Does he do it each time a new generation of Noah come into existance, or does he wait for a particular group that really fits what he's looking for?

Just realized something, the chapter started with Allen and Linalee holding hands :3

^"The cheerleader" Linalee will be temporary (I think you know that). Since she immediately went (more like forced) into a battle-scenario, without recovering.

Thanks for silverwmoon for the purty sig :3

I don't think that's the case. I think she just isn't playing a huge role in these latest chapters - the emphasis has been on Cross and Allen - and Hoshino is trying to keep her out of being a real background character with those cheers and random lines so that people don't forget about her by the time she becomes important again. xD

It would be nice to see some of them live. I'm worried that really killing them will be pushing the limits of shounen, which DGM is already doing to some extent (with the dark themes, character ages, etc.). It might not be popular. :/

I would think that he activates the Ark when necessary... or it's possible that everything has been done in the last century. Innocence wasn't found again until then, and the Earl/akuma also haven't been around for a very long period of time (I think I remember reading that somewhere). It's also possible that the descendants of Noah don't awaken until they're needed to fight Exorcists.

I hope Road will come back, actually. ^^;; Kind of. It seems weird to kill her off now when we know nothing about her.

Aww, but "insane" sounds so cool. xD As for the belt thing, he'd have had time to activate it between the hammer breaking and Lavi and Chaoji disappearing. Maybe he'll go emo because of that. Uh....
