As for her intelligence, Hoshino might say it but I don't see any evidence of it anywhere in the manga. Yes she did beat a lvl 3 Akuma, great, she's an exorcist, she's supposed to kill akuma. Does that mean she's really that strong because she killed one? no, the others are really that weak. At least Kanda, Krory (still hate him with a passion), and Lavi managed to take down a Noah. From the looks of the manga, lvl 3 akumas may not be the only thing to worry about.
    That's absolutely right brother
I love you *huggles & kisses*

Kanda was very weak after his fight. Anyway, Lavi and Krory (and Allen, I suppose) also beat Noah without destroying their Innocences, and Lavi was in good shape afterwards.
It's a lvl3 akuma.. his ability to control gravity is its special power.. that's why he is lvl3.. if he didnt have any special ability, he wouldnt be ranked as lvl3, would he?

Yeah, kanda's mugen has shattered to pieces after his fight.. But, he doesnt unconscious like linali did.. His drain life ability is his source of power.. That's why he is strong

Lavi is an exceptional.. Coz his battle with road is a mental & mind battle, not physical battle.. that's why i didnt say he is strong

I prefer voting for Crowry than voting for linali

(Are Bookman's healing abilities part of his Innocence, or something else? I mean, it seems logical to think that they'd be his Innocence, but it always seemed to me more like a lucky side-effect of its equipment - Bookman can use acupuncture, Lavi can hit things with a hammer, etc. Hm.)

Awww, come on, Lenalee gives motivation to Allen. ^_^ He actually tries to kick ass when she's around (and especially when she's in a bad situation). Not that he succeeds, but he tries...

There are level 3s that don't use gravity. Had Lenalee been fighting - say, Thread, she wouldn't necessarily have died due to her final attack. And that's why she was unconscious. =P Kanda probably didn't last very long after his final attack, since we haven't seen anything since, right?

Kolox: Have Road injure and/or sexually assault Lenalee and I don't think he'd have a problem killing her. =P Everyone just thinks he's strong because he has random power bursts and is the General-level protagonist. Yet, with logic, even a fangirl like me can see the truth...

I think that was just in the moment that Allen said he would kill the noah. However I guess if you drive him to that point maybe his sword will get deadlier for once. To tell you the truth that power up probably only works on Akuma its useless in a fight. Allen might as well go back to Crown Clown mode.

It's not that useless, it's just that it didn't work on the inner Noah (I think it's too evil to be exorcised). Also he doesn't want to hurt humans right? So It'll be pointless for him to go back to his "claw" mode.

^That's why I say he is a sissy - I think his sword works well, it just him who consciously doesn't want Noah to be hurt, so he backed off and the results..well, we all see them ourselves. They betrayed humanity, why keeping them alive ? By fallowing Earl they sentenced this whole world to it's death...

^Ah valid point, maybe Allen is holding back(hey its a new power) that's why the inner Noah is still there. And you know Allen he's weird, by weird I mean saving everybody weird. You just can't do that. If I remember correctly it was Archer (or was it Gilgamesh?) who said that "If you save someone, another dies"...i think

"Being a hero goes with a risk, that to save majority of people you will need to destroy minority of opposing ones. Hero will save the hostage, but won't save the criminal" -Emiya Shirou / Archer

Allen said he would kill Tiki if the he "laid a hand on" (presumably injured or killed) any of his friends; Tiki didn't do that until he went berserk, and that wasn't even conscious. If sane-Tiki (er, the one who could speak) attacked one of the Exorcists, I don't know if he would hold back. It's just that none of that happened. And he DID try to injure Road when Lavi was being weird, it just... didn't work.

Shirou is a goddamned pussy. Allen isn't nearly as bad as he is at the beginning of the series (I don't read/watch FSN so I don't know how he changes) - there's a big difference between trying to save all humanity from an undefined evil, and trying to kill the bad guys to save humanity. Allen just wants to stop the Earl, not protect humans from every little thing that comes along. And yeah, he'll probably lose some of those morals later in the series; he's already gained a personality that works with that situation...

^shirou's out come depends on what ending you get/read (anime is the overly optimistic (the game's real ending, manga: UBW, he kinds of grows up, from boy that's being to overly optimistic to a teen that understands that there must be sacrifices).

    Anyways back to topic.

I guess after this arc Allen will be darker.

Hence why we have Archer, I assume. Well, I'm not ever going to read the manga or watch the anime, or play the games, or ANYTHING, so~

I think Allen should be darker - eventually, if not now. As I wrote in my other thread *cough*, he's already changed quite a bit in recent volumes. Growing darker is just a natural step for him now, as is growing stronger.
