Who was Mana Walker?
I'm really, really sorry if there is already a thread about this, and if there is, one of the mods please delete this thread as soon as possible. I looked for the "search button" for 15 minutes but i haven't found it yet. So, please understand that this thread may be a repost. :(
That set aside, who really was Mana Walker? We have so little information on him. There is some speculation that Mana Walker was the Noah who betrayed the other Noahs, but that sounds a little far-fetched to me.
Anyone else have any more info except for the basic facts that he was the foster father of Allen and that he was in a circus?
Nothing is known about him but those two facts.
It might be that he just really has no secret, or is involved with any of the Akuma or Noah.
But on the other hand it could mean that there is something about him yet to be revealed, and wasn't yet because its something big.
At the moment Hoshino probably wants us to all believe he isn't very related to anything such as exorcists or Noah. Later she will probably reveal something about him that will cause to a change of events.
Its best to have an open-mind and think of all sorts of possibilities for him.
Althogh it still could be he really has nothing to do with any of whats going on.
After 120 chapters of nothing about Mana Walker and at the end making him important character would be in my opinion a little lame. Seriously, nothing original nor impressing.
It would be even worse than what turn out to be with Ichigo's father in Bleach.
All we know is that Mana picked up Allen when he was a baby (presumably a very little one) on Christmas, and raised him for twelve years until he died somehow. Kolox, the fact that we know NOTHING about him means that obviously, he must be important somehow; that's foreshadowing (like Road smelling Cross's cigarettes). In Bleach, there were no signs of anything involving Ichigo's father; in DGM, there are tons of reasons to believe Mana plays an important role. Anyway, it would be just too simple if Cross met up with the traitor Noah at some point and Allen was just on the hit list because he was connected to Cross.
So far, the traitor-Noah story is too convenient. Since we only found out about that at the end of volume 9 (this is the end of volume 13 - but in DGM-time, just a few hours later), it doesn't seem unreasonable that we know nothing about Mana if that's going to be the role he plays.
Oh, and it looks like he wore a top hat and was tall and kinda heavy in later years, if Allen's vague memory is anything to go by.
(The anime says he got in a carriage accident and died. That was never in the manga... for all those who haven't read the manga.)
Mana is dead ? Mana became Akuma ? Where are those tons of evidence ?
Of course he's dead. Mana is currently an akuma who died and whose soul seems to be inhabiting Allen's left eye... but that's who he IS, not who he WAS. =P Anyway, it seems that there is something there that can talk to Allen on occasion, or whatever.
Mana is dead, he might appear in future, but not as Mana but as Akuma who cursed Allen - somethinh like Ichigo-hollow side (so much Bleach references..).
Mana was Mana and if it's going to turn out that he was something more, I'm seriously ditching this manga - I'm already on the edge.
Mana is skullfucking Allen 24/7 in that eye of his. According to DE.
...God no, I didn't mean it like THAT. Spirit, spirit. >_> Or maybe it IS his eye or something weird like that. Allen technically isn't supposed to have one after Mana gave him that scar.
I don't think Mana will appear in the future except in flashbacks or whatever.
Kolox, you have no patience! Just wait for the manga to get better and then tolerate what Mana will be. That's what the plot is MEANT to be.
..or get as dissatisfied like after reading the last Harry Potter book. That book was made on knees without much of idea how it should end...
I still haven't seen the tons of reasons for Mana to play bigger role than he already played (like "Keep walking" stuff which will apper in future again and I don't mind).
