uh i haven't read all the posts, (because a) i'm tired, b) its 2am and c) well i guess there isn't any c) and I'm not sure if this has been brought up, but i've just re-read DGM and remember the part where the earl told jasdevi about the traitor noah. Could it be Mana walker? I mean it could be right? Remember the conversation that bak and (i'm guessing) komui had before the level 3 akuma attacked the china branch? I'm guessing that the black org knew about this and decided to be hush hush about it, and the rest was well, history.
^If that is true, I'm officially dropping this manga. Some people already came up with your idea (you will go to hell for being lazy :D). That would mean that Mana had more plans about Allen than just taking care of him, which ruins his whole image - of a good guy, who maybe wasn't father material, but couldn't leave a little boy alone.
stained_black: That was kind of the point of the thread. The stories of the traitor and Mana just fit too perfectly. I doubt the Order knows about it - Bookman might, and possibly Komui, and Cross would have to - but remember that no one knew about the Noah prior to Road meeting Allen and Lenalee (besides those three, anyway). They also wouldn't know who Mana is; the Order didn't know of Allen's existence before he showed up at the HQ, and I can't believe that SOMEONE wouldn't have said something by now if they knew about it (or commenting on knowing Mana, anyway). The Noah, on the other hand...
Kolox: Why would you stop reading? This HAS clearly been planned, and foreshadowed. As for Mana's motives for raising Allen, he could just have easily been a good father. How long ago did the Noah wake up, anyway? Mana could have been a nice guy who picked up a baby and raised him, and later became a Noah; remember, they do have normal human lives. Judging from his reactions to becoming an akuma and killed, he probably didn't know Allen was an Accomodator. If he did give his powers to Allen (a possibility), I can easily believe that he was just being a good father - since the humans are going to die, he'd be saving the boy. See?
hey at least my sentence to hell would be lessened since i didn't create a new thread, and sorry about not reading the past posts. it was late, and i was tired =D
*sigh* Well, whatever. We won't find anything out for another four weeks or so, anyway, and that may not even be what we're looking for.
hey, i'd like to bring up another topic no one seems to think about... Allen's true parents. Does Allen know anything about them at all? All we know about them is that they abandoned him, but how did that hapen? they left him somewhere or perhaps they knew Mana, gave the boy to him? Is that even true?
Ok, this is a crack teory (don't kill me, please x.x), but what if Mana (suposing he IS the Noah traitor) was the one who killed them? He knew Allen was an exorcist and was suposed to kill him, but then he took pity in the baby and decided to save him and hide him from the Earl, and instead of telling him the truth invented a story about how his parents abandoned him, yada, yada... He could have been a little like Tyki, sometimes crazy and evil, sometimes a normal human, rebeling against the Earl, and eventually decided to change sides (because of Allen, perhaps). Tyki could be the neo!noah-traitor (xD ok, thats just impossible. But it WOULD be very funny... Allen turns bad, tiky turns good, and then a meteor falls from the sky and kills everyone. Teh End folks.)
Of course, there's another possibility...
Darth Earl: Cross never told you what happend to your father, did he?
Allen (Sky)Walker: You killed my father!! Well, turned him into an akuma, whatever...
Darth Earl: Errr... Stepfather, and that was your doing, actually.... But no, Allen. I AM YOUR FATHER!
Allen (Sky)Walker: OMG NOOOOOOO!!! *dies*
Lavi: Wow. But now that you mention, I can see the similarity...
This is the only theory in this whole thread that I find quite plausible :)

Then again, whether Mana was a Noah then, later, or not at all still isn't proved by the fact that he picked Allen up and raised him. Characters like Tiki and Road have shown that even Noah have human emotions and (some) morals, and I can't imagine either of those Noahs seeing a now-orphaned baby and leaving it. I can definitely see the story about abandonment being false, though ("well, technically they DID abandon you, since they died, right?").
