Thread: Chapter 127 Discussion - DEUS EX MACHINA!

So this Hoshino-sensei is taking a break right now then? or are we gonna get another chapter, I hope so because it would terribly suck if I have to wait like 3 months just for a new one right after we are introduced to the deux ex machina Cross Marian.

No, JUMP itself is on a break right now. Hoshino usually releases a few chapters before taking one of her two-week breaks, so anything this soon is obviously not her fault. I think there was a really long break for a few months(?) last year (?), but... maybe she broke her wrist or something... er, there was a reason.

Yeah, I generally wait until the raw is out, which should be soon. :/ Damn, that spoiler looks so interesting too... and yet lame at the same time... Cross is just way too cool to be realistic, ya know?

I wonder about Cross' objectives. He's this ridiculously powerful guy that just sort of does whatever he wants, whenever he wants. His saving of Allen and co. merely seems to be the byproduct of him being there for that "egg" thing, whatever it is... And Headquarters can never keep track of him. I do think he's a "good" guy, but I am very curious about this personal agenda of his.

The egg seemed to relate to the Ark; Chomesuke (I think) did say that Cross's intentions in Japan were related to the Ark, or possibly even to destroy it. That's where the akuma come from. He does seem to be doing his job as an Exorcist, even if he does have his own little personal issues.
