Yeah, Chaoji had way too much screentime and life-threatening injuries to survive to NOT have some important role to fulfill while he's alive. I guess super strength fits him, though. xD Fat guy.
Tiedoll sent the Innocence into the Ark as soon as the others disappeared, so I guess it followed them or something. o_O At least we know WHY it was there.
I liked my idea better, at least that would have been a good Deus ex Machina, in my honest opinion. If Chaoji beats Tyki Myk, which I completely doubt, that would be terrible - not even Allen nor Lavi could deal any damage to him - even having him die wouldn't make up for that.
There's no way Chaoji can beat Tyki, but hopefully he can be enough of a distraction for one of the others to recover and deal a surprise attack or something. I guess.
Whoo.... Finally Chaoji does something... Too bad he doesn't look powerful enough to survive. I'm also kinda curious how they're going to get out of the Ark. Maybe they just need to end this fight, one way or another.
Surprise attack? Who, Allen? Lavi? They're quite unconscious, and badly wounded, too. Chaoji's sustained less damage than anyone except Rinari; he's in perfect condition to fight. And anyway, Allen and Crowley certainly weren't really a match for either of their Noah opponents (in terms of strength), and they're not smart enough to think of tactics (like Lavi did). If Crowley, at least, could knock out Jasdevi, I'm sure Chaoji could stop Tiki temporarily in time for the room to collapse. xD
...and die. Because you can't win like that and live.
Er, but I like repeating myself. It certainly makes more sense for everyone to be an Exorcist and to die, though. It'd be another point in favour of Rinari having the Heart, or something like it (if she can use a power to revive everyone...?).
chaoji will probably be able to put up a fight for some time, while the author thinks of a way to get them out of the ark.
Hoshino-sensei probably has this all figured out; she's taking breaks for "data collection", so she's probably thinking ahead to the future. I don't think Chaoji will last more than a chapter or two. There's a two-week break ahead, so maybe Chaoji will beat Tiki in... two, three chapters? And then more action~ of a different kind~
Oh gehs! I want this fight to end already! It's been going on for more than 10 chapters and half the time I can't figure what the heck's happening because it's mostly fight scenes and eih! -_-
Compatible Chaoji was somewhat expected. Other wise he'd have no reason to be there. But I still hate his guts for jumping at Allen's neck for wanting to save Tyki. D< He does not deserve to have an Innocence! Innocence is for saving. Not destroying. And the Noahs are all human. He's there to learn how hard it is to be an exorcist after bashing Allen, I think. So Tyki will kill him one way or another. Hopefully soon.
It's been ages. My memory's fuzzy but it seems both the Order and Sennen Hakushaku expect General Cross to be on the arc.. So he 'might' go in and save everyone's butt and trod Allen under his boots for being a weak, over optimistic idiot idealist. o.O
OMGeh! Where's Kanda!? D: The suspense is killing me! >.< Even Chaoji's getting more screen time than him! Kanda's gotta be alive somehow but.. BUT!! [bawls] I mish you Kanda! Come back to us! And why has no one gone into his room to check his flower thing yet?!??
There's still that teeny tiny chance that Leenale's innocence becomes usable again. >.< If that happens, she will get more confidence back and (probably/hopefully) stop crying.
So. Who else here's pulling their hair out from Hoshino taking a break at a time like this?
The fight itself hasn't been going on THAT long. Just three chapters, with new-Tiki...
I think it's interesting that Chaoji is an Exorcist, especially when you think of who the nearest General is. :3 And Allen has never experienced teaching without torture. Aha. xD But Allen is really the unusual one - Innocence isn't nice, and it definitely is less for saving people than for killing akuma. Why else would it be in WEAPON form, with few other purposes?
I think Cross will go hang with Tiedoll in Japan. =D
Does anyone else know about Kanda's flower?
Lenalee will get her power back. She's the heroine, and she's had as much screen-time as Allen has had. That's a lot.
More data collection... but hey, it means we're in for some good future chapters, right?
