Thread: where to start reading

I just finished ep 39 of the anime and want to start the manga. What chapter/volume should I start reading on (I just want to get to the stuff that is not on the anime yet).

No, start from the beginning. There have been so many changes and fillers in the anime that you won't really get a sense of what's happened unless you start from the VERY BEGINNING. (It's only a few more volumes anyway.)

I guess that's the good thing about having an anime that has so many fillers at an early stage... I still can't believe they took out that scene at the end of the Komrin thing. T_T

Have to try and remember what exactly that was D_E. The other option for this young "Blah" is to start at the Crowly ark. I believe that most of the changes start there. However if you are going to back that far, might as well start from the begining.

I'm an Allen x Rinari fan, so you can guess what I loved about the end of the Komrin arc. =P

The fillers have been going on right from about episode 14 or so, and they DID change earlier things. If you don't read the manga from the beginning, you'll probably be confused about what actually happened and what the stupid jackasses at the animating company made up.
