In summary:

-Rinari AGAIN proves that she needs to feel so much pain every chapter.

-Allen looks mad. Very cool.

-Child Rabi is the most adorable and huggable looking thing EVER.

-Road's new appearance is... um, graphic. And I mean that in an I-never-want-to-see-that-EVER-again. And neither do you. Seriously. I think I'm going to be sick.

-Allen proves that his sword is more than just a sword. Or maybe his right hand has special powers. Something cool that way. Oh, and he was just really cool this chapter.

-Rinari does something to Rabi that looks painful. Well, after so many chapter without comedy...

I LOVED this chapter! ^_^

I wish Lenalee would have done something, though. As cool as Allen is, he hogs way too much spotlight/credit. I know he's the main character, but gaah. x_x

Little Lavi is ADORABLE and I'm so glad that Lavi has pulled through. I never for a moment there believed in the possiblity of his death so hooray!

I said this in my journal but I'll say it here, too: I hope Road dies and stays dead. ^_^ No offense to her fans, of course. I just happen to not be one of them.

Anybody else kinda confused about what the hell just happened in Lavi's head? What was that discussion all about, and how did it make Lavi "win"? Aside from that, awesome chapter.

Here is my take on the chapter (mind you this is with the prior chapters in mind): Road is Lavi, but at the same time not. We still have to see her final form (next chapter?), and it will be something we don't expect... maby our freindly Panda/Gramps? The end scene with Lenalee was kinda funny, expecialy because Allen is in the background with the "thank god that wasn't me" look. Allens weapon comming back to him I saw happening from a mile away.
For the Road=Lavi thing... well take a look at everything that happened in the last two chapters, and then the conversation in this one. Remember when Lavi stabs Bookman Lavi, it is Road that got injured. Then in this chapter it is BL that says you are my 49th version (basicly I'm just going for the essence), and you are the only one that asked the question. That is the same Lavi that Road used... so in some way thoes two are connected. I think it would be hilarious if it turned out that BM and Lavi were actually Noahs themselves, but either didn't know it or were "rouge". Nothing like having a spy in the enemy camp.
Oh, and about kid Lavi... he just reminded me a lot of kid Senri in +Animia.
Anyways let me know your thoughts.

Oh, and as far as what happened in Lavi's head, I think that it was his "old" self reconizing that the "new" Lavi is either better than the prior ones or more effective. That's because instead of just looking for the facts and events, he is asking for the "how" and "why" questions to the historys as well. In short he wants to know the reasons behind the actions to record the historys.

Cool, but i really hate the fire... it makes it hard to see whats happening...^^

Anyone else getting pissed off that this battle has gone on for about 70 chapters? Everyone has upgraded at least once, 3 of the main guys have died. It's been non stop the same 'I'm not gonna let you die' kinda crap.
I used to like D.gray-man, but seriously, give Allen a break, i'm sure he's tired after what seems like 4 years of fighting.

It was an ok chapter, now to see what happens to Road.

I dont get it...
Is Road just burned? or is that her REAL body?
And the one Lavi stabbed in the "illusion" was that road? :S
If i remember it right i think it was the one who was allen who was stabbed.

The Ark arc is actually only about 32 chapters long (it started in chapter 90), and that includes the fights of Kanda and Crowley. Considering all that's happened, and that each chapter is 17 pages, it's not that long...

Road was stabbed by Lavi in the dream - he stabbed the zombie-thing Allen, not himself. THAT was Road. He then burned her, so I guess that he kicked her out of the dream with that stab and allowed her actual self to be burned.

I do think Road is connected to Rabi in some way, but not as the same person or anything to do with Noah - but her comments about him being a Bookman were remarkably like what he himself was thinking. She was also a "watcher" figure who wasn't supposed to kill anyone; Tiki's injury made her snap, but she never did anything like that before.

Damn it... the two pairings I actually love aren't getting any support anymore. >_>
