Hmm, I guess. I don't think any of the Noah were supposed to be involved in the Ark thing, though; even by creating the doorways, she was going against the Earl. After all, that's how they lost Boric and Tiki.My "defeat" was more of her doing the job (going against the exorcists, getting in their way, etc). But it was possible she wasn't gonna be involved (at least not yet) , until the Tiki thing happened.
Yeah, and we can't tell since they happened at the same time.I was more to the "Rabi guessing she was disguised as Allen and was actually correct" thing but i will agree its the same thing
Fast posting and spam FTW~
Well finaly the battle is over, hopefully the series has no more long battles like the one in this arc, just because people are almost equally doesn't meen they have to last so long. Ok i really dislike long one v one battles, such long character development is best out of battle i think aswell, like a quick flachback is ok but whatever. The next arc better be better, Rewind town is still my favorite arc, i hope we get another shorter arc that is interesting. Not the shonen battles when one person stays behing to fight, and then have one person fight them till they die or almost die killing the opponent. I'm not sure if i should give up on Grey Man.
And yeah, that whole Lavi v Lavi conversation doesn't quite gel from me. Here we go:
Little Lavi asks dying Lavi why he was the only one who was different. How come he had to be the one to ask the questions? Then dying Lavi tells kid Lavi: "but YOU were the one who was asking". Kid Lavi looks shocked. He realises this just as the card touches him. Then kid Lavi concedes, "oh. You were also me", and disappears. At that point, Road (Allen's figure), says, "OK, it was a promise after all. You won (defeated kid Lavi). You're released from dream world". Then, in the real world, Lavi regains his consciousness.
How did that conversation make dying Lavi beat kid Lavi? How did the card help? I don't get it at all.
Battle's still going on... I actually wouldn't mind if we had these long battles as long as cool stuff is revealed and the art is nice. Still, I'd prefer shorter battles with akuma.
Don't give up on D.Gray-Man. This is one chapter arc where Hoshino-sensei decided to knock off the remaining Noah so she could introduce new ones; I doubt we'll see any long battles except with other Noah (and also, we needed to see some serious pwnage from everyone fighting).
Of course I'm fickle. >_> But she's a lot cooler than she used to be, now.
I don't know about the card, but from what I can see, there were THREE personalities in the dream: Rabi, the Bookman, and Road. Rabi didn't beat himself, he beat Road. He won because he managed to escape from the dream, which was the original point of the game (and he did so by discovering who she was and stabbing her).
Somehow I don't think Rabi's done with his internal struggle, though. He still knows he shouldn't be getting attached, and he never really resolved anything - in stabbing Road, he just managed to avoid the problem for some time.
yea, i didn't really get the whole chapter with emo/angsty Rabi and his inner struggle, just glad to say that Road finally got what's coming to her!!1
but for now i think Hoshino will keep Road alive because...you know, she's supposed to be the first child and all and a pretty major character.
Did anyone feel that in recent chapters, the art was sort of hard to understand what was going on? :/
Road didn't deserve the worst death in all of D.Gray-Man! T_T Although the emo Rabi chapters were confusing... maybe it was just the translation, or something. There's too much mystery surrounding Road for her to die, though (she doesn't even have a proper bio page).
The art was too pretty for action scenes. xD (No, I understood what happened.)
OH MY GOD DIGITAL, don't tell me, ARE YOU DEVELOPING A Road-Obsession LIKE SHERMAN?????????? >________________<
Road is a interesting character so i can possibly see sherman's obession lol.
