I might just be reiterating what Purple Filth said here, but...
The title page of chapter 89 seems to indicate a pretty strong resemblance between the two. Go check it out. Go on....

Resemblance can be either only physically or just because of the similarity of power base.
It's the problem that I can't look for it right now...what's on that page?

o.O...I have to look for it....later.
I think I can remember that pic. That can have a symbolic meaning for sure, since the character-power, the figures of Allen and Earl, are taken from a play, being some sort of opposite.
Right, they are opposite, like two sides of one card, like good and evil.
I wouldn't say they're siblingsor family, after all Earl lived for centuries.
That's another good point. And settle down with it: Earl isn't quite human, ...or not at all. Despite the power-relation there's nothing else. If Allen somehow turns out being the Earl's son from whatever-relationship the Earl might have begun in the past...I would be REALLY surprised an dumbfounded....and I wound wonder about the Anti-Akuma-Weapon Allen had gotten....because it doesn't really work....(not even if the Earl is some distant relative it would work).
It's true that Allen's family is a mystery, but the Earl really isn't human at all (he doesn't even really look that way), while Allen clearly is - not to say that only humans can use Innocence because that's apparently not true, but I'm sure someone would have noticed (like the Gatekeeper). Besides, we're also assuming the Earl has a gender and all.

The Earl....is confusing-shaped....not really human....and not related with Allen within blood-line. Okay, we've figured it out. So they're, if, only related by power.
Yeah, because the Earl might have four ears. =P That was such a funny omake...
...and wouldn't it be scary if they were related? (And inspire rip-off accusations?)

Yeah, lightening up the mood whenever the Earl's around. If there are really bunny-ears popping up from under his large hat...I swear I'm going to burst into laughter....
...way to scary. At least as scary as to think about any relationship or sex-direction for the Earl...*shivers*
