Mmmm...no. Its actually a good thing that you want to be different then others. It is called having a personality.

There's a difference between being different by having a personality and being different by doing the most random and stupid things that no one else would do for obvious reasons. I support the canon pairing of DGM because I want to, and I like it. People who support crack pairings, particularly creepy ones, fall into the latter category.

Cloud can go with Cross, because he obviously likes her well enough and it's an appropriate pairing. On the other hand, Cloud and someone like Link would be damn funny (can't you just see him clumsily trying to give her flowers or something cute like that?).

xD I can and then her little cute monkey wants to kill him. Though Marian and Klaud are cute together (when they were drinking wine)

Lau Shiimin didn't bother Cross when they were drinking, though. I think as long as it gets to stay with Cloud, it's a happy little monkey. (Like Timcanpy, maybe. We don't see him going around and biting potential love interests for Allen... He actually kinda likes Lenalee...)
