What, Claymore and D.Gray-Man? Pffffft. They're both amazingly great series using general themes in manga... and some of them just happened to overlap to the point where Claymore is like D.Gray-Man + Berserk.

*waiting for the evening when DE-sama and Jakub-kun are meeting each other to discuss.....* *singz*
Okay, I still dislike the simple separation of Good-Evil/Black-White. DGM isn't for kids, and I never thought so.
Which is why I doubt there will be a separation of good and evil, because it really isn't for children. Besides, it would be a waste of a manga if that happened since the plot is perfect for inserting dark elements on both sides (plus the title has to mean SOMETHING).

I think I got slapped too much by Digi lately, I need to recover - she even said she hates me...chlip....
As long as there is such separation, I will stand firmly that it shouldn't happen in such manga and that's wrong doing - it's the same with Naruto - making ninjas into super sayajins is stupid.
It's only because you don't support the greatest pairing ever, and you like other manga before D.Gray-Man - and you insulted the manga of God - and... lots of stuff.
...I think Hoshino-sensei was influenced by Dragon Ball. A LOT. It's like, the most referenced series in talk rooms. xD Now that I think of it, there was something about liking the soundtracks to Dragonball and Final Fantasy... there IS Final Fantasy influence...
~Digital_Eon~
Hey, I'm not really supporting the pairing as well....wait....no slap, DE-sama...please...!
Yay, Final Fantasy is cool. But DB is kinda black/whit separated as well...
....
*chokes*
Neither of you support it? NEITHER? What happened to the loyal fangirls?!
*bursts into tears*
Dragonball isn't at all like D.Gray-Man, though. It's good the way it is - really simplistic. The fact that it is black-and-white and exaggerated is what makes it funny.

If i am not wrong almost all the manga the last years are influenced from Dragonball and Final Fantasy or other fiction ...The think is that you know they may look the same but they arent, cause every mangaka has other ways or stories from these that he or she was influenced....
D Gray Man may be influenced, yes, but it has his own line in time![]()
I just feel lot's of "deja-vu" when I read DGM and it fails to impress me.
..that would make lot's of sense![]()
