Yeah, it seems that there's more to this manga now. First I though it was going to end was soon as they get out of the Arc and beat the crap out of Earl. But now seeing that the fights and explanations and still now Allens new ability and the thought of Allen becoming a General. There's more to it.
Now with Lenalee's Innocence. She id have a higher Sync rate than Allen. Doesn't that give her a bit of advantage? Demo, seeing that she used more of her power and even almost actually 'deleting' herself out of existence from fighting Eishi...I don't know. With her fight, I figured she was a skilled Exorcist and one of the strongest ones.
Allen Will overcome Tykkis bloody attack. He's got a huge sword to swing at him! But...Does he know how to handle a sword? It is his Innocence, but still, I think he doesn't know how to use it...to is FULL potential.
*extreme fangirl who also stalks conversations on Mangahelpers ^^;;* Thanks! *feels like Shion-sama from Nana now*
So who's excited about this chapter, even days later? The art has gotten so wonderful recently - the last page is just beautiful, especially when compared to earlier chapters.
EDITED: Rinari DOES have a powerful (and strange) Innocence. The reason she nearly died is that she attacked Eshi's gravity - it was supposed to be a sacrificing attack. If she hadn't used the gravity to kill Eshi by, um, plummeting into the ocean and being in the middle of what I thought was an explosion, she might have lived. Allen was in a worse state than she was after maximum invocation, after all (he could barely move his arm, and probably felt more pain). I'm just surprised that she had a higher maximum synchronization than he did... and that's still kind of high. Hmmmmm~
Why would Allen know how to use a sword? On the other hand, does it take that much skill to pick it up and whack Tiki with it...
in the anime series they introduce the generals or mashals sooo you get to know each of them they started of with the old long haired marshal
hmmm what could be a better substitute for a weapon that would pop out of his arm? It should be related somewhow to clowns.
gigantic rings, ruber balls or steel bowling pins ^^
The anime is the anime... in the manga, we know nothing about the Generals except for a bit on Cross, and we've seen Tiedoll interact with people. Aside from that, very little besides their apperances and general attitude is known. That's why we'll probably learn more.
...A sword is probably the best kind of weapon, in these cases. ^_^;; I mean, there's always a shovel. *cough* *cough*
Has Hoshino-sensei forgotten that there are apparently akuma attacking the other Exorcists? What ARE Mari and Tiedoll doing, anyway... and what did Tiedoll send out in chapter 90? Hmm. They need another appearance. (Die! DIE!)
Do you think its possible that Allens Innocence is in controll now? like when he fought with mana and aliade or what ever her name is..?
I think that would make it better, he pwns Tiki, faints, wakes up and doesnt know how to use the sword again. Then he trains, learns how to use the sword as he likes. Improves it, and then beats the Earl.
Dont laugh =p
I don't know about that - it's possible, but I think Allen knows how to use it now. When he was fighting Mana, Allen had never activated his Innocence before. He wouldn't know what to do, and he didn't have the will to fight his father. He was unconscious when fighting Eliade.
As for now, Allen definitely wants to fight Tiki. He seems pretty conscious to me, though - he was just asking for more power.
It'd be cool, though. ^^;; but I think those incidents were to show that Allen's Innocence protects him when it shouldn't be. It's been revealed that it shouldn't do that. I don't think there's any purpose to it now.
(And now, semi off-topic: Perhaps I've just been too hyped about Grindhouse, but with this chapter, Rinari exchanging her leg for a gun isn't too improbable. ^_^;; Ahahahaha. Way too much Grindhouse.)
Isn't this a bad scenario? I mean yea, that sword probably is amazingly fucking amazing and powerful. But his right arm is just a normal person's arm. He also doesn't have any training like Kanda has. He's also just using one arm to swing a broadsword. The absence of an arm makes your balance and your psyche abit awkward in my opinion. But, honestly another sword? I wish, they'd be more original. It woulda been cooler if he pulled out a massive spear or scythe. Though using these latter weapons are even harder with one arm.
I think his right arm is also Innocence, or something - it transforms too. And yes, he doesn't have sword training (does Kanda?), but how much training do you need to swing around a big sword and hope you hit something? Besides, it's his arm and his Innocence; it's probably easier to use than a random sword.
As for the sword, it probably has no weight or whatever; see this for a general idea on how it works, I guess (second question).
Anyway, a sword is way cooler than a spear or scythe. Besides, it's like the anti-Lero. It NEEDS to be a sword (and the Earl having a sword that's really a pumpkin-headed umbrella is strange, isn't it).
When you said scythe a picture of Lenalee flashed into my head. It could be possible, since her fight with Eishi the last form we saw of her boots resembled a large scythe, no? I wouldn't mind her handling a scythe and create wind cutting attacks. But, she wouldn't be able to walk on water or fly...mou!
Maybe you don't need sword training to swing the large thing around and hope that it'll hit a vital point. But it would help if you could handle it better. Look at Kanda, I bet he trains a bit with his sword a few times a day to get that good. I don't think you just activate your Innocence swing it about and say you learned something from that.
Well, Allen said that his right arm will protect humans and the left arm will protect akuma. Now he's using both, doesn't that mean anything? He's using 'both' arms to defeat Noah who are 'humans' in a way.
Did I shed some light? =3
