It's quite cruel to be Bookman because it also means that he isn't allowed to interfere with the history but only may watch to record. Only watching while something horrible happens...it's really disturbing....mildly expressed.
I don't like love triangles as well...at least one person will be hurt at the end or maybe even all three...
The original Bookman seems to be okay with that, but Rabi obviously isn't - poor guy isn't much of a Bookman, is he. T__T;; It's too obvious that he likes Rinari, and he'd never be able to stand by and watch while things happen to his friends.
Rinari would definitely be hurt by a love triangle since it means one guy may not be able to be her friend anymore - possibly. It still means that someone she cares about is hurt. I'm still hoping for Allen and Rinari, though - maybe with just a little angst. ^^;; Rinari acting closer to Rabi or something. Rabi has admitted that he flirts with other women, and Allen hasn't done anything of the sort, so at least Rabi has more of a chance for a happy future without her.
Although what happened to Allen saying that he was too close to his friends and ended up forgetting about the akuma? Sounds awfully familiar... Rinari, stop diverting men from their occupations! =P
I think no one could be a good Bookman at this age - especially someone like Rabi who yearns for friends.

Rabi has been a Bookman for a while, hasn't he? (A few years, anyway; seeing as how the manga has taken place over months and months...) Still, he should learn at some point that he has to be alone - so maybe the bad decision was just making Rabi an Exorcist.
...healthy? He says he does have some interest in women's personalities and all, but when it comes to a "strike"? And that he'll hit on any girl between 10 and 40?! Including Rinari?! (Allen's a brat for thinking what he did - Rabi is an enemy of women? =P It's probably more that he likes Rinari and is disturbed that such a man is his rival, ne~)

Woman till 40 can be still very attractive and having charming personality, so I don't see problem here and with 10 years... if you make a 10 year old fall in love with you, in 8 years you will have much younger wife :D All of your friends will be jealous how young is your wife :D
And this strike thing... well, this might sound cruel but most man start to talk with attractive girls first. That what he mean by strike - to start flirting.
Rinali is quite pretty so It would be weird if he wasn't interested in her.
Rabi likes older women, I guess. It's actually kind of made me support RabixMiranda - she's older than he is, she's not ugly, and that way, Rabi will be happy in the future. ^_^
Um... by "strike" I think he meant... something else. Like. Um. Something the two younger Exorcists probably haven't. Um. Done. You know.
Well, he *was* just interested in Rinari, but it seems like he really likes her now. ^_^ Rabi isn't exactly subtle about it, either, especially when he does things like interrupt a "moment". Why wouldn't Allen be upset? Here Rabi is talking about how he'll hit on almost any kind of girl, and Rinari likes him just as much as Allen! That's so unfair~ (Except that Allen's personality is, um, darker than Rabi's... so maybe that's why?)
I don't think Rabi x Miranda would be a bad idea if it wasn't for Miranda's personality - they completly wouldn't match each other.
I think he meant the opposite of what you thought. He meant "start flirting", "trying to hook up" not have intercourse with her.
Maybe his feelings for Rinali got deeper because he was a little jealous of the whole Allen x Rinali stuff - actually, I can relate to that. There was a girl who was never interesting for me, until she became my best friend girlfriend. Somehow, her whole appearance changed for me ( I know that's evil, so I didn't do anything to make my friend be mad at me - but that's how it works sometimes).
Miranda has become more confident, though - I did remember reading that Rabi's type is a widow, ne~e... like they're supposed to be happy? Anyway, I can see them getting along. ^_^

He could have been jealous - the first time I remember seeing any hints of him liking her is when he gets angry that she's so depressed about Allen. It doesn't change the fact that he DOES like her, although I think it lends more credibility to Allen since he just started liking her because of who she is, not because anyone else liked her. ^^

Pretty much - if you wanted to hook up a guy at the party, would you choose first a guy who looks like nerd, stinks and wears old-fashioned clothing or a guy who pretty much looks cool and intelligent. How much we could fight with it - looks matters. Rabi is just honest. And with Eliadne - well, it was kinda cute you know - it seemed like he would move a mountain or split sea in half if she just asked him to do so :D
No, Rinali is probably one of those girls who actually talks to him and wants to be friend with him. Surely he met some girls before, but it seems he doesn't keep any contact with them nor reminiscence about them (moreover, Allen is a guy with complex - white hair, filthy arm - as long as there is a girl who accepts him, he will be happy)

I don't deny looks matter! I mean, Rabi says that when it comes to a "strike", personality doesn't... as much... he doesn't consider it as much as, I assume, if he wanted a relationship with her. If he was picking up a girl for a one-night stand, would he care? You know?
...All Rinari did was say "welcome back". o_o Which River said in the previous chapter and he remembered Mana. He's talked to Rinari THREE TIMES, and twice it was for her job. It seemed more like love at first sight, in a way~ So cute. Anyway, he doesn't feel anything for Miranda, Anita, Fou, Road or Rou Fa even though he's talked to them numerous times. It's just Rinari. (Maybe she's just his type. o_O)
