If Rabi has a dark seal, it could very well be 魔. It's the "ma" in both Makai and Enma.

Makai, literally "Evil World", it is a synonym for Hell that emphasizes its nature as a realm of demons. (Rather than Jigoku, which means "prison land" and focuses on it being a place of condemnation for evil doers.) Enma is a name for the Japanese version of the Devil.

I know metal (kin) in one character so that's a good possiblity.

Metal is one, iron is one, ice is one. (It looks like water with a thing over one side. xD) Still, it looks too much like water... so maybe not ice.

I thought dark would be the kanji for 'yami', but it is a little complicated...

Ma would be the better option, since it not only refers to demons but means "dark magic" as a secondary usage. Yami is just generic darkness in the sense of absence of light. But might be better as a symbolic representation since 闇 is a bit simpler than the rather ornate 魔.

MA would be an absolute bitch to write. And pretty uncommon. Doubt they'll use that. If you want an opposite of TEN (heaven/greatness), I'd go with 悪 (AKU - evil) - way more easily recognisable.

But having said that, I'd say it's far more likely that the author has no plans and will just make it up as they go along

I do agree that the manga-ka probably have no plans about the power of each seals, though I think he specifically leave the question marks in certain patterns (to me that just seem a little bit suspicious of how he placed the question marks)

Makes me wonder what kind of power will 惡 (or their similarities) have. After knowing that 木 have the power of electricity, I don't really know what other seals could do (nor can I predict in this case).

Whenever I think about this I keep connecting myself to CCS, which is an old anime. Anyhow, I figure water will probably have the power to... clean things? Or maybe Rabi can summon a hurricane with that (though that will be over used).

Come to think of it, what exactly is the fire seal? I don't seem to recall its ability to create fire... I do remember that it destroys everything within the the surface of the hammer... or maybe somebody else could explain this better for me -____-

Which seal will create fire-explosion then, if the fire seal does not give that attack (it's a shounen manga, something have to create fire

)?

氷 is the word for ice, as far as I know. It's simple enough, so I do agree that it will become part of Rabi's seals.

Why DOES wood have the power of electricity? Maybe because it's just one of those random things... or because there's some sort of compatibility there. Or maybe air/wind/whatever needs its own attacks so electricity got moved to another seal.

(CCS? Hm... Illusion! Shadow! Maybe Hoshino-sensei was a fan...? =P)

I don't think ice would become a seal if water is one (using the kanji for water). I'm pretty sure I've seen fire create... fire. That's why it's so destructive.
