Thread: Hammer-power! Rabi's Innocence

After 100 chapters, I would expect something more. But that's my opinion...

I think he's developed a lot considering that those 100 chapters have also been spent introducing and developing everyone else. He's less of a main character than some, because everyone else has plenty of scenes and development too.

Besides, fans tend to like the pairings I like... such as AllenxRinari. I can't see Hoshino-sensei writing something else entirely, because it'd be weird (and I'm pretty sure she did say there might be romance in this manga).

Well, but Allen sure has done quite a bit developing other people's characters. Besides, I don't feel like that many other characters have made drastic development of character since the beginning... Kanda or Rabi haven't changed much. Rinali has gotten weaker......

Allen has changed, according to Rinari - he's gotten stronger. (And he has!) There isn't really room for a lot of character development, though - what's going to happen? The only big changes I can think of are either negative or Kanda suddenly becoming nice. Mostly, it's just people moving beyond their pasts and growing stronger (except Rinari... and we'll see that soon, we will!).

Which is presumably what will happen to Rabi in this mini-arc.

anyway, onto the topic...

Fire seal > snake
Heaven seal > dragon

Apparently those two seals have an animal linked to them, and both animals happened to be skinny and long in length.

Fire + heaven seal = power of iron + thunder (of course I am using my limited translation skills AGAIN, if you have a more correct term you can help me correct it), but in a shape of a dragon.

However, the wood seal does not product an attack associated with an animal. In fact, it's only a thunder-like-electric-ball. Unless I missed out details again....

Anyone want to add onto my pointless discussion?

The wood seal relates to nature, so I wouldn't guess that it's associated with one animal - so maybe something weird happens when it's part of a combo. Until we see Rabi use more of the combo attacks, it might be hard to tell.

It's just that he can't use his hammer right now (in the current fight with Emo-Rabi), so we won't see anything like that anytime soon.

Unless he rebuilds his hammer with the power of a strong heart... how else is he going to fight his emo self? Punch him in the face, like we haven't seen three other characters do that in this arc?

I'm telling ya - super spiked ball on the chain - the morning star (morgenstern ) or something like that. Far better than rubber hammer That will be Rabi's new power up.

That would be very nice, except that he wouldn't be able to use his seals anymore unless hitting them with a spiked ball works. o_o The hammer fits Rabi's personality more.
