i never thought ed from fma was a girl, but my first time seeing kanda i definteily thought he was a girl, I thought only wrath(and now greed aswell) were human based?

well with the pervert comment then jasdevi is more likely to be a girl than a guy, does anybody know what word they use when they say 'I'? afaik the japanese have three different words to say 'I' one is for males, the other is for females and one is gender unspecific so whichever one they use could determine their gender, unless they use the gender-unspecific one >_>

That's a topic for the FMA subforum... but I thought it was pretty much everyone.

The Japanese have many ways to say "I" - some are gender neutral, or used by both. I haven't seen Jasdevi speak, but I'll check the raws; it's probably something that won't reveal much... I thought Jasdevi used "we", but that could mean anything.

As for the I thing... what words are you thinking of? "watashi", "boku", "ore"?

Isn't "ore" used for males?..."boku", too...right?

I thought, the thing with Crowley and shouting "Don't touch me, pervert!"...was one of the evidences...but again...I don't have a real idea and only can rely on the scanlöations and you guys and gals xD

"Ore" is always used by males (ie: Kanda and Rabi). "Boku" is a polite form of I, used mostly by males and occasionally by women - usually tomboys (ie: Allen and Bak).

The thing with Jasdevi... no, Debitto didn't say that. I think. The translator thought it referred to Rinari ("act more like a female" - because girls don't really punch people in the face, do they...). The speaking thing can't really be used because they'd probably speak badly no matter what gender they were.

(Off-Topic: Manga...? I don't know... We've only seen the creation of two, and they were humans, and Envy is made of humans...)

I got the feeling that Jasdevi was female. At no point does Jasdevi come across as a guy to me so I'd go for female, or at least asexual.

And I want the next chapter to see how long this Blood Crowley copes

Oh, and am I the only one who love Jasdevi's hair. Tis so cool ^^

I don't know how it can be asexual when it was once/still is human... maybe it's female and splits into males? Or is male and just happens to be very feminine?

(I love Jasdevi's hair too! ^_^ So cool... such amazing abilities.)

See, I was never sure if Debitto and Jasdero were both female or if one was male. If it was the latter then combined they wouldn't be either but lately I've been thinking they're female ^_^

Debitto is almost certainly male - there are no hints otherwise - and Jasdero is probably one too, seeing as how it has a man-chest. Don't think Jasdevi has anything, um, there.
