i seriously don't know, i'm guessing girl, since of the twins one was a girl and the other is either a guy or a tomboy girl, so when merged probably girl and also jasdevi looks more like a girl really

Well it certainly isn't a shojou or a josei and it's nowhere near as bloody as Gantz or Berserk.

They are both guys. Jasdevi as a combined thing looks oddly femine, though, despite apparently having a flat chest. But who knows. Maybe it's just an it.

Not yet at least, it is serialized in Weekly Shonen Magazine.

cos if you look at it, they have girly legs, not that i look or anything ummm...

See? As I said, never consider a vampire as dead, until you see him/her/it vanish. I just hope that the fight with Jasdevi ends in the next chapter; it has been long enough, already, in my opinion.

It is a shounen, but with romance as an important thing. (I think Ark told me once that he reads it. Ask him about it in Holy Sentinels. I think he may tell you more about its plot.) There are even better examples than that. I once recommended you to see Fate/stay night, that one would be a seinen series, but with romance as an important thing.

I read Tsubasa - it seems much more like a shoujo adventure to me. Of course, I've read manga that seem to be in the wrong kind of magazine before. Or maybe it's just my opinion.

Jasdero is kinda manly, though... and Debitto... well aside from the name (say it. It's Engrish.), it's kind of a man too. But who knows. Since Kanda looks like a man now, we need some kind of androgynous being.

The fight with Jasdevi will probably end in two chapters, I would think. The last one will probably feature some other characters, too - half a chapter of conclusion?

Go read some more Tsubasa! It's like my favorite CLAMP work.

In this chapter when Jas threatened to 'rape' Linali (she was in this bubble)...the translation said...or Jasdero said something like that:

"Shut up or I'll rape you! (Even if I'M a girl, too)"

Confusing...this whole gender-thing.... I swear! When I showed a friend of mine (who isn't very interested in anime or manga) a picture of Edward Elric and Kanda Yuu...they thought they were girls!

Yeah, but that could have been a translator error, or to make sense of it all. I'd think it's more revealing when Jasdevi calls Crowley a pervert for holding her... because a guy probably wouldn't say that. She freaks out, too.

(Because Kanda is a bishounen. Duh. Well, not until now, but... people always think characters with long hair are girls. That's why.)

I think the FMA Homunculi have genders, since they were originally human. Except Envy, because it's a bunch of humans and probably doesn't have one in the first place. See Jasdevi. =P
