Thread: Anyone remember that topic about how many Exorcists are alive?

There is an actual answer, and it's twelve.

Chapter 89: Tree-General says: "Right now, the only living exorcists are Hevlaska, Sokaro, Cloud, Marian, and the 9 that are here, that's all..."

Thirteen. Minus one for the now-presumed-dead Kanda, that's twelve.

Originally, there were thirteen Noah presumed as well, although Boric is now dead.

Does that mean that there's going to be one Noah for every exorcist? That includes the betrayer, so presumably he's been replaced. (Or - see the theory thread - that one of the exorcists is supposed to be the new Noah).

Yes, I know it seems dumb to start a new thread just to say "twelve", but...

I'm pretty sure (unfortunately) that Kanda is alive (damn) so It will be like 12 Noah + Earl and 13 Exorcist (and who will take Earl - first Cross then Allen if it goes by stereotypes ).

If one of the noah will betray and someone from exorcist will die (probably one of the generals - they aren't really important for Mangaka - he can easily kill them off ) then there is still one-on-one situation (presuming that Noah will just betray without taking exorcist side...)

Miranda said she felt his time disappear, so... but he would match with Boric, if they ever fought - which they have - so presumably they're both out when it comes to determining Noah vs. Kanda.

Maybe the Earl will run off and start a new army? xD Change form or something and start a new arc.

I was actually thinking that one of the Exorcists is a Noah - whoever received powers from the betrayer, that is, and the candidates are mostly exorcists. Make for an interesting fight (Noah Cross! XD).

I'm really hoping Kanda's not dead!! I still have hope! ;_; Well, I doubt Hevlaska would fight, so maybe someone else will take out more than one Noah.

Well, she might - she's an Exorcist, isn't she? And if the HQ gets attacked, there's only two generals there; we might get to see what her Innocence is.

Her innocence can only keep other innocence and check people's capability to become exorsists. Hevlaska, just as Miranda, have no attacking technics I suppose.

Well, who knows - maybe she has some super power that no one knows of. ^_^
