Allen's left, activated arm was pinned at this part of wall. Then he'd ripped it of (at least he tore the nails which had hold his arm at the wall away). Because this was a area created by Road/Rhode (at least she created a door which led to another dimension) there is this purple blurry something...
I'm actually wondering what that purple blurry something is. And what is that "another domension". And explanations from manga or thoughts of yours?
Rhode seems to have the ability to travel between... different dimensions, I guess. I suppose that when Allen ripped part of the wall off, it revealed whatever's behind it - the purple stuff is probably that typical kind of background that random, evil dimensions show.
Who knows what dimension it is; she probably just created it...

About traveling: they all seem to have that ability: Tiki even sent Akumo through it (when he tried to eleminate Allen for the second time). This must be a part of thier wierd magic.
You must be right: the substence is probably some type of matter this another domention is created of. I wonder if the reall world (where they all live) is created from the same substence.
I think that it is probably some kind of "other side of the world" where Earl and his family can travel. This probably is the same place (not exactly the same but situated at the same domention) where they are fighting in the present arc. It must be too hard for them to creat worlds, or else they have the same power as god.
Actually, it's just Rhode; the door that appears behind Tiki Mick was created by her.
"There isn't an exit in this ark anymore, but with Rhode's ability, we can make some more... Our Rhode is the only one among us Noahs with the ability to move through space without using the ark."

Sorry then, my bad.
Hmm....Is the only way to kill Noah's through infecting them full of innocence?
Back, and Drowsy.
Someone should make me a signature.
umm
in the recent chapters, Kanda supposedly killed Skin Boric, but there hasn't been anything on either of them since...
As Tiki Mick says, you probably can kill a Noah because they're human, just really powerful ones - so presumably you don't need Innocence to defeat one (although it would certainly help). I guess if you cut one up into tiny bits, for example, it would be dead - this isn't FMA.
