Thread: Noah's Family Question & Discussion

If you need something magivcal to defeat something that means that you are fighting someone using magic. Diferent one in our case. So they are not just normal human with etream power i think. They are something different.

I guess if you cut one up into tiny bits, for example, it would be dead - this isn't FMA.

I can hear something insulting my beloved FMA here. Stop it or I'll kill you (it would be hard to work without manager but i'll manage somehow). And to be killed by Kitten with Hammer is shamful you know. Though my preys don't complain - they just can't.

I wasn't insulting FMA; it's just that Noah =/= Homunculi. =P It's been stated that the Noah are humans - it's just that they *have* been granted some kind of power. Presumably, they can be killed by relatively normal means, it's just that it would be difficult to do so without getting killed yourself. It's like... fighting a boss in a video game with weak weapons, as long as they do some damage.

About powers yes, but then who granted them? Though we must have to wait this question to be answered in manga (if it will ever be)

Yeah, the source of the Noahs' power is unknown - they say it came from God, but they're kind of evil, so who knows what actually happened. It seems that it happened to random people at a random time in their life, if Boric is anything to go by, so presumably they're just born as Noah and the power comes out at some point.

About God - Rhode says that Noah's family is a "sacrifacial lambs that Earl offered to God". So they really could gain thgose power from God. Then...exorsists are working against God? Or there are several gods?

Tastes differ. We don't have to agree to each other everywhere anyways. I don't mind other people liking different things then me or hating my favourite things.

Well, this manga may be Japanese but it's set in Christian Europe, so I doubt there are multiple gods. My best guess is that one or both groups are deceived - someone's working for evil even if they don't know it. It would be really ironic if it were the exorcists, ne? =P But then again, they don't go around killing innocent people, so that kind of sets them up for being the good guys.

Well, I'd be okay with that because half the time I *am* rooting for the bad guys (I love writing super-powered characters with mean personalities. It's like anti Mary-Sue). But that would be a really cool idea. Maybe God has gotten corrupted and so the exorcists will replace him? (Or maybe I've been reading too much of Incarnations of Immortality...)
