Special FX Artist Needs Help!

Hello all I been reading the absurdly wacky Akumetsu. And found the character mask very intriguing, sort of as a personal challenge for mr to create a super hero mask.

I gather as much pictures as I can to create the mask. But I'm having trouble trying to get fine close detail of the character mask, mainly the parts that cover his ears.

I'm about 80% finished its just that one section is driving me nuts.

I could really use your help!
