Thread: ISO desktop images..

for 2 screens, 1024 x 768 = 2048 x 768.

I'm also geting a 3rd screen but not for a month or so so mainly wanting a fancy 2 screen pic.


HOX: must = 2048 x 768, no larger, no smaller.

Nobody knows any sites with fancy (nature/space) 2048x768 desktop images/artistic enough to make one?

Don't bother googling, I've gone through a dozen sites and the images there aren't any good ones and just a few of the 'below average' pics. :G

They only do 2560x1024 nowadays you noob.

Why don't you use 2 different 1024 x 768 walls though?
They're better looking than spanned wallpapers imo.
Unless you have one of those seamless multi-monitor designs that cost $10,000+.

Cause 2048x1024 is cooler obviously and I didn't figure out how to do that yet... <_____< too hard to find matching desktops to make it look like it's the same pic (Yea, I want that. :G) and two different ones are.. not fancy enough for 2 screens. :F

Lol, well, you could then try finding a 2560x1024 wall and then resize a 2560x960 portion of it down to 2048x768.

Btw, to set a spanned wallpaper, set the setting to tile, and not stretch nor center.
As for a spanned triple screen wallpaper, uh...it'll depend on which monitor is the main monitor, and then you'll have to drag around portions of the wall in photoshop to get it to display properly.

Oooor there should be settings in your graphics card manager that should let you set different wallpapers per monitor.

Ahaa, will try to find some 2560x960's when I get home.

Mrawr, I dislike radeon but gona give it a look to figure out the different wallpaper thing, not geting the 3rd screen anytime soon (other things came up) so don't have to think about that now. :P

You'll have better luck cropping a 2560x1024 wall into 2560x960 than finding a good wall that's already 2560x960, FYI. :P

Well, if you find one and are having trouble applying it as your desktop, let me know.

Say, if your monitor is only 1024x768, my sig must look giant on it, no? >_>;;

Using a laptop atm (since won't be home till friday) and hmm, nah, it doesn't look too big (1024x768 here too).

At home I use a bigger resolution on other screen (which I use for forums) while keeping the other one smaller (dont know why, I never do anything on that screen anyway) and using tv for playing games (well.. I guess it counts as a 3rd screen? lol).


I thought there were rules for sig size these days? you sure you're not breaking them? ;P
