Ha ... 3D Studio Max ( seen your DA page ), but it has been a very long time since I touched it and my skills at it are getting even more pathetic ... ( Maya is also cool but I didn't get a chance to try it. )

Anyway, nice work, I can see the attempts at photorealism and rendering out textures ... ( which is much better than the standard I usually work at ... )

For improvement ... maybe, you can try to work on backgrounds and lighting after you get more skilled at making still-life objects.
