Thread: My characters for a manga I tried to create

I was trying to make a manga at home and started to draw out my characters and manga. Then I got lazy and kinda stopped after the 20th page.
So I'm just posting out my characters and a few manga pages.
I hope you guys could give me some advice to help with my artwork.
I know it looks pretty amature so I really would like some advice to help me out.

NOTE: These are done all in pencil so are not very good. These are sketches and I will try to ink them once I buy some inking pens.

dude, use adobe and a scanner or try using manga studio 3x. im also making manga.

I kinda like it, but scanning/inking is a better idea like x-tinfate says, it would give us a better and detailed look, which helps us judge it. I hope you've also got a fitting storyline

I can't draw.... is not part of my talents and it takes too much time x_x

But I do write some stuff

I like the backgrounds, the only critique I have is that the tops of their heads are wider than the rest of their faces. Looks good besides that though.

I agree, Overall its good, but the head is somewhat big =], overall very good job. Looking forward to the rest ^^

good job on creating it well as for advice id say do some figure studies especially if you're doing alot of characters as well as poses. for the backgrounds concentrate on learning perspective. it can take a while if you haven't done work with perspective in it but it really helps.
