I don't see how the first three need fixing or what your looking for advice for. But what method did you use for the other one? Just so I can appreciate it more. Looks good.

the second one is one c4d, lots of smudging, lots of filters, lots of gradients, zero brushing (except for the light).

The first one had satisfaction barely readable and the second was darker than that of the third. I liked the second more more.

Concerning Yukimaru, the right, too much light is present. A real kicker is though you used more solid colors for the person, even though you used solid colors for her instrument, the colors blend a little too much with the background overall color-scheme. on that note, I would have to say that the second is the best once again, though the instrument needs a little color-shade tweaking.
