Thread: 3D animated models ?

hi

i'm not sure if 3D models are accepted in this section, but a friend of mine would need a beautiful human-like 3D model with animations (and textures if possible), so if any of you has some or knows a good free model bank on the net i would be grateful


it is for an irrlicht based project, so the model can be of any of the following types a priori :

• 3D Studio meshes (.3ds)
• Alias Wavefront Maya (.obj)
• Cartography shop 4 (.csm)
• COLLADA (.xml, .dae)
• DeleD (.dmf)
• FSRad oct (.oct)
• Microsoft DirectX (.x)
• Milkshape (.ms3d)
• My3DTools 3 (.my3D)
• Pulsar LMTools (.lmts)
• Quake 3 levels (.bsp)
• Quake 2 models (.md2)

but i believe if ur friend is willing to surf the net, they're are a few random free models out there. I can texture...sort of...if he finds the models. =\

the problem is he didn't find any good model ^^ (and the one which comes with irrlicht is a quake model (i think), so it is not really pretty )

if you know a recent game with decent graphics whom models are free, it can be interesting too ^^
