Thread: Weekly GPX Contest (RESTART)

okay, so here's the deal.
i'm restarting the GFX contest (aka sigs), because SD's been lazy.
since its been a while, this will be a bit different.
RULES:
1. NO RIPPING
2. The sig must be 500 px by 150 px or smaller (or a vertical sig, that works too)
3. The sig must contain your name.

the theme for this contest is MOVIES. i will come up with a new theme every time i start a new contest. Basically, for this contest, your sig must either contain a character or a scene from a movie, or be an accurate representation. however, anime movies do not count.

Your sigs must be in by Sunday, April 21, 2007, at 12:00 PM EST.
You must send them to me in a PM.
and dont post them in this thread.

can you clarify the first rule a bit? No ripping from what? Other sigs, pictures, people? I don't really get it...

XD SD i was just getting bored, you know? =p

anyways, ripping is considered taking someone elses artwork and calling it your own. i.e. taking a sig i made, erasing the text, and putting your name on it. thats bad, and will get you banned on most sites.

and yucchi, SD CALLED it GPX but im calling it GFX cause GFX is the general shortened term for Graphics (its just letters that sound like the consonant syllables).

yeah SD didnt know, i guess. GPX was a show/event on Cartoon Network a while back... >_> maybe he got it confused.

im bumping this so everyone gets a peek. also, if there's a CW section mod around maybe potential sticky? that'd be nice.
