Hello~. I've been on ST for some time now, but I decided to maybe explore more boards here after the Misc. Series Section was nuked, and the DOGS thread that I frequented was gone. The Art board here seemed pretty interesting and lively, so I though I'd join with all you fellows - though I'm learning too, and would greatly appreciate constructive criticism and help. : ) And if possible, comments? Heheh.
However, please be lenient on me with the criticism. >.<
I'd thought I'd start with some old stuff - like some of my favs. I started out doing fanart, but now I'm mostly leaning towards making up my own stuff and trying to find my style.
Well, I tried to do Reno from FFVIIAC in my own way. And now when I look back, it's so-so. I was mostly concentrated on playing around with exaggerated folds, and the hair. I like to do hair. This was around January 2005.

This next one was suppose to lean on the style of Chinese Elves with some kind of ninja and martial-artsy sort of thing going on. I mixed pencil and ink with this one - I do not think I had any good sort of composition - nor anatomy.... This was like late January 2005.

Oh, haha, this one below is Alice in Wonderland in my own way. It was something that started out as a sketch and grew like this. My favorite is the Cheshire. However, this piece contains so many flaws like porportions and anatomy again, and I never really finished properly shading it. This was around June 2005 when I submitted that.

"Out of Place" was pretty wicked in the way I captured the girl's expression. It's a bit warped and nonsensical overall though. Around August 2005.

"Imraeli Soldier" was for a friend while I studied on making weird armor and had fun shading. My scanner didn't properly scan it well, so yeah.

Little Red or Wicked lady in Snow White? Just a sketch. I did the trees in the back while on a bus, but the scanner scanned it too lightly to see all the details really there.

Oh, I love Howl's Moving Castle, so I made fanart for the book version. It was like a sketch, and funny trivia thing was that I did this while having a 104 fever. I'm an insane little child, I guess, but I wanted to draw. I had to darken it because of my scanner that time.

"Chyseis Dormientis Lunae" was experimental in me getting the soft look right. And I kinda got that, and I like it nonetheless. I need to learn how to shade the face for more dimension, though, I believe. I made the neck to thick here too it seems.

Woosh! Last one, I have so many up here already. This one was to be called "Praeceps," but I changed it to English "Edge of the Abyss." This was for Kid-chan's contest, and I decided to test the turn for some surrealism and junk. It was absolutely enjoyable, though I had to shade it several layers. Trying to recreate the water shimmer was difficult, and I didn't get it properly. And I notice that I need to fix the left hand since it's going the wrong direction. Unfortunately, I did not win any spot for that contest, but this still remains my most favorite piece so far.

: ) I would greatly appreciate any say on my stuff, and I hope you enjoy seeing them. I'll post some more links later.
