Thread: My art...

Hey i'm new to ST (Well not really i have been lurking for months.)
I have only just started using photoshop to manipulate my photography and other images and would really appreciate it if people could give me a few tips on how to improve my work.
Here is some of it.

This was my first ever sig and avatar.

tis good stuff, keep practicing and you'll get better. Also try to not brush over the base image too much, try to keep the main focus visible, you use good brushes, but be careful not to over filter

use lots and lots of layers, if you don't like a change you can just delete the layer instead of being screwed with what you've done (if ctrl-alt-z doesn't help)

PS, rumour has it girls don't use the intarweb.

three words: keep it simple.
you seem to like photomanips, so do NOT add much to them.
they look better that way. (ps, they work the best with vectors)

You have a very nice illusionary / dream scape theme in your works. My favorite one is the green composition with the two eyes staring out at you. At first glance I didn't quite notice them, being so tired and all. It's a nice element of surprise.

I agree with the previous two post on overworking (mainly the t-shirt image and face next to it), so I'm not going to further reiterate it here.

Keep up the good work, and keep practicing. I'd love to see the remaining two when they are done.

That my dear friend is a load of crap!

I really liked the Girl´s face one, It looks like an ilution or somethig, and the green-eyes one is cool too, but, honestly, I did not really liked the t-shirt one, I mean, it has nice stuff// the little red and green plants//, but I think the other red thing does not look so good, It would look better without it.
